What time of year do pool parties stop?

I'm planning a trip to Vegas in the early fall: probably early to mid October. i've been to Vegas this time of year (Palazzo for $120 per night thanks to Priceline), but never checked out any pool parties. Are they still happening this time of year or does it really depend on the weather? Thanks.

October they die. We closed Oct. 6th. Tao Beach stayed open but it was soooo dead. Try to come first weekend in Oct if possible.
