  • Hard Rock "Nectar" Saturdays any good? (Sept. 28 - Felix Cartal)

I'm with a group of 3 dudes looking for a pool party for Saturday September 28. We want to get a daybed or preferably a cabana somewhere with high energy. We would love to see David Guetta at EBC, but I don't think it's in the budget. If Tao Beach is still open we'll consider that but so far no word on whether it will be open or who will be there.

So we're considering Hard Rock "Nectar Saturday" with Felix Cartal where the price is right. I've never been to Hard Rock other than Rehab, so wondering if this will be good time with lots of people looking to get crazy? If it's anything like Rehab, the answer is definitely yes...but wanted to run it by the experts here. Thanks!

Yup, I'm waiting on a host to get back to me with a quote but I expect it might be outside the budget. But if it would be way more fun (?) we could always break the budget.

I just hung out at Nectar Sat Aug 24. It was a lot of fun. My group got a cabana. The pricing was $1500 f/b min for around the main pool or $750 f/b min for a second level overlooking the main pool.

They had drink deals of a 24 pack of Corona in a giant ice cooler for $125 and Vodka bottles at $300. It starts off pretty light when it opens at 1000am, but by 1 or 2 pm it was packed! I recommend getting there early to have a better choice of cabana. They are pretty strict on the minimums, so tipping out will not drop the min at all, but may help with your cabana location.

I would stay away from the daybeds, they are all clumped together, and it looked a little dicey. But if budget is huge, then a day bed may be your option. I don't know the exact pricing but I would predict a $300-$500 F/B min for ones by the pool.

It is not the raging pool party of the bigger clubs, but it was going off, super packed and a fun time. I was pleasantly surprised.

They had a house DJ playing and he was mixing it up with all kinds of music.
Been to Vegas too many times to count, partied in too many pools and clubs to track, but when you live so close, why wouldn't you?

hey going this saturday, would u recommend the second floor cabanas overlooking the main pool or the ground cabanas away from the main pool? right now we have the second floor but don't know if the floor would be fun away from the main pool

You want to be at the main pool. If you cannot get a floor cabana at the main pool, then go with the second floor overlooking the pool. Any spot away from the main pool is a drag, don't bother. Just my two cents.

Got in at 12. was pretty empty at first. We upgraded from the second floor to the main floor by beach side after tipping 100. By 1-2 it as a good crowd. Every day bed and cabana was filled up by the main pool but only a couple groups upstairs. I wouldn't even go on the second floor on the crowded days, no one goes up there. Anyway we had a blast. My recommendation if you go, def get the cabanas around the main pool.

Thanks, Kimmer, that's helpful. We were going to reserve an upstairs cabana because the downstairs minimum is more than we want to spend, but after reading your post we are just going to show up at 10am without a reservation and try to negotiate a better deal for a cabana next to the pool. If they won't work with us we'll probably just get general admission rather than pay for a cabana away from the action. Thanks for the info!
