  • Marquee Dayclub Confirmation - Thursdays

I've read some places that MDC is free on Thursdays? Looking to go August 15 after we check-in to our hotel. Would like to confirm a few questions...

    Is it free?
Must we be placed on a "guestlist" of some sort?
    towels provided?
    lounge chair minimums?
    music format?

Would probably show up around 2pm and stay until 5ish.

Can anyone confirm MDC as free entry Thursday and not needing to be on a guestlist, etc??

I would like to know the answer to this question also. Anyone know? Their website doesn't say anything about it being open Thursday.

It's chill and slower so I couldn't imagine there being a cover charge if you just contact one of the host. I use Derek Runtas/ Kerry McKenna and they always takes care of my guests on non weekends

Thanks Kaz! I just sent Derek an email moments ago. Might use him for a quote for Chuckie at MDC this Saturday as well.

Are you staying at the hotel? It's free for sure then if you are.

Went there on Thurs, 7/18/13 - was free with room key prior to 11 or 12pm, I think. Absolutely dead, though @ 11am. Just one other couple and the waitresses were there. However ... come back at any time. I hear it was a pretty decent scene later in the afternoon.

I'm staying at the hotel in a couple of weeks and was looking for something on a Thursday. I know it won't be like a crazy Marquee weekend crowd, but what does "dead" mean? Do most people go next door to Aria/Liquid on a Thursday then?

dead in our case meant that there were about 15-20 people in the dayclub area chilling at the bar.
sound was playing but there was no dj spinning.
definitely more action on the 2 other marquee pools but less sound

Yes. It's known to be the Thursday spot, Industry Day. Same situation as Bare on Mondays. Liquid and Marquee are open on Mondays, but Bare is just known to be the Industry Day spot so everyone goes there.
