Azure Pool - thoughts? any contacts/hosts? or better options?

Hey guys,
Going to Vegas for a friend's bachelor party in September (19-22).
Of course a pool is required but the groom and best man wanted a more laid back setup.

They settled on the Azure pool at Palazzo. I have nothing against the Palazzo and i've never been to Azure, but i'm trying to find a better option, or better pricing; as a 1500$ F&B minimum seemed a little high for 5-7 people; especially for a pool that only gets 2.5 stars on Yelp.


So i'm looking for any similar pools - more on the laid back side of the scale (a nice middle ground between the Jersey Shore meat party and the super chill empty pool).

I prefer the MGM properties usually; but i'm open to pretty much anything; I just have read a lot of really negative reviews of it.

Or is there anybody who is a host that would be able to help ensure we have an awesome time or get a better price?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Plenty of other options, now, I wouldn't trust yelp, by my Pallazo connects (concierge mainly) that work there say it's not very good and they don't even treat them well. Haven't heard anything good or bad about Bagatelle but heard it's chill. Bare may be just what you're looking for though, maybe Moorea. If you did Marquee, Encore Beach, Liquid maybe a Tao on Friday, it may be a good mix of what you described. Good party, more upscale grown up crowd, but not empty or boring. I think doing it Thurs or Fri vs a Saturday when everything is crazy may be the way to go.
