  • Pool Party advice for July 6th (Sat)

Been trying to make my plans for over a month, although the clubs make it very difficult when they don't even know their event schedule until a week before... seriously??

Anyway, it is just my GF and I, so as much as we wanted to do VIP, it just isn't happening. $2000 and up for just the 2 of us is way out of my budget. I am very surprised that there are no beds or tables designed for 2-4, or even a "community" type table where small groups or couples who VIP would be seated together.

We have changed our minds over which club to attend several times, mostly based on cost, event, online reviews, and our concerns about wasting the whole day in line hoping some Jersey Shore wanna-be door man even lets us in. We've considered Wet Republic, Encore, Liquid, Palms. Just heard about Daylight but have not had time to try and research them.

We fly out Wed morning, and have no clue of our itinerary, although we have been leaning more toward Palms Pool for "Ditch Sat"... ? Any advice?
We are a good looking couple and we keep fit, but you will not see us in a Bowflex commercial, lol.

We just want to have a good time, and party with other sexy people. "Top-tional" is not out of the question, actually it rather intrigues her, but reviews online say the topless pools are not what they are hyped to be. We definitely want a party atmosphere, hopefully drama free (I've heard Rehab is notorious for testosterone overload and 'roid rage, uuggh).

Wet Republic, Encore, Liquid, Tao, Marquee Dayclub, Bare, all solid on Sat but can be bad for a couple without any real estate.

Marquee, Liquid, Tao, bare (These are the mid sized pool, w Bare prob the smallest) - These have chairs you can reserve with lower minimums, prices generally range 200-500 for a set of 2 chairs/table. Go that route. I think all will be great options, Bare may be the most chill out of these but on a Saturday it should be fine also.

Wjogert, I am flying in 7/3-7/8. We have 3 couples in our group. We posted looking for one or two more couples who would be interested in a bottle share at Encore Beach on Sat 7/6. I spoke to a host about a daybed and received a price of 2k plus 30% tax/tip, plus a tip for the host. We also have a table at Light on Friday night and a daybed Wet Republic on Sunday. Let me know if you guys are interested.

We spent two days at Moorea last weekend. Calmer crowd but nice looking one. Think more social and less dance party. Had a blast. Ask for the Liz as your host. She is the best! It was extremely hot so be sure and get some shade.
