Boulevard Pool - Offspring

What's the deal with the Boulevard pool at the Cosmo? Pretty solid option opposed to a real pool party?
Also, the Offspring is there this Saturday night, as hotel guests do we get in for free or do we have to get tix/cabana? And everybody's just in and around the pool during the concert?

Been to 3-4 shows at the Blvd. All GA, people standing around--(tip)the cabanas on the far side are wide open, so if you get there early you can claim them. Ones near the stage and on 4.5 are rental only and are somewhat pricey.

No hotel guests get in free, have to buy tickets. And, it's not a pool party at all as the pool is drained and you can actually stand in the middle and sit on the edges. 3-4 bars and the bars in the way back have shorter lines

Cool, thanks. Didn't think they drained the pool, but at least you know its clean! By 10 pm or so that would be pretty nasty.

Follow-up, do these concerts regularly sell out? I imagine a pretty decent crowd, but would we likely get in if we buy tickets the day of?
