Does anyone suggest a certain location for a cabana at Marquee day club? I know I've read that alot of where they place you is based on the tip given to the host. Can you request a certain area? what's the best area? Does it even matter? I've never been to marquee and was just wondering what's the best strategy/way to go about it.

People have their preference. I prefer grand cabana 16 or 17 for dayclub, best view of DJ booth IMO.
Yes you can request a certain area with your host.
Location is all up to you. whether it really matters to you and how big your budget is, bigger budget, better location.
Best strategy is figure out what your budget is, how many people are in your group, contact a host with that information 1-2 weeks before your arrival and see what he/she can do and how much of a higher minimum or handshake if you're not satisfied with your table location2013 Calendar: March 20-21 (Treasure Island). you'll need to contact your host or the person who walked you to your cabana but yes you can but expect to either get a minimum spend increase or more tip to your host.Originally posted by Vegas_Insider View PostSo after they have brought us to our cabana, and we are not satisfied, we can request another cabana?2013 Calendar: March 20-21 (Treasure Island). Don't forget you have to add on the 28.1% Nevada sales tax & 20% commissionOriginally posted by Vegas_Insider View Postwow that's alot, I think are minimum will be $2K. Not sure if cabana 16 will be on our radar.
From July till the end of August all Cabana prices are at their highest going from last yrs pricing. Hopefully with more competition with the likes of the Light Day Club and with Wet Republic having new resident DJ's with the likes of Calvin Harris, pricing should be a little bit more competitive this yr

That pricing sounds about right for a Grand Cabana at MDC. This year during Cinco de Mayo weekend they were 10k.Blackout Artist

If the host is legit, they will honour the quoteOriginally posted by Vegas_Insider View Postso I talked to two host both from here
1 gave me a quote for $2000.00 minimum the other guy gave me a quote for $3000.00 minimum for a cabana. Just wondering if we end up going there that the $2000.00 minimum the first guy quoted would raise up to $3000.00 or would it stay the same.EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

When i had cabana 16 one of the owners was is cabana 17. The Waitress told me the owners always use either cabanas 16 or 17. We spent 5k of our 6.5k minimum on as many of the cheapest bottles of champagne and sprayed them of creating our own party...the girls loved, needless to say we had the best pool party experience ever

Vegas_Insider, I am looking at the same price range as you. Curious, how many people are in your party and did you mention it while getting a quote? (I am trying to figure out how many people gain entry for a 'regular' cabana at MDC). Thanks!
