  • Table/Daybed advice for EBC for a couple?

    Hi everyone! 1st time poster.

My husband and I are travelling to Vegas in July for the 1st leg of our honeymoon from Australia.
We are hoping to visit Encore Beach Club on a Saturday or Sunday (depending on who is headlining.

As there are only 2 of us, a caban is pointless, but we still want somewhere to sit and base ourselves for the day.
We are also interested in checking out Wet Republic and Daylight so any suggestions for the Saturday/Sunday and which place would be best would be much appreciated!

Any ideas what is on offer for a party of 2? Thanks in advance!

EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

It's not until the 1st weekend in August so ages away. Just trying to get an idea of what is out there for a group of only 2 people.

Hiya Miss Diamond, and congrats on your pending nuptials! If you want to be "in" the water and still have a place to sit, order drinks (but no food) etc, then the Lily Pads are a great option for a couple and tend to have the lowest minimums. That said, they are mostly in the middle of the action, so on a busy day, things will get crazy!

Couches and Daybeds are good options, though can start to get pricey if it's a major name DJ on a weekend. Both allow you to order food in addition to your drinks; I like the Daybeds because they also have a hotel style safe built into the base so you can lock up your wallet/phone/etc. and walk around or hit the pool with less worry.

Minimums are definitely up this year... this past weekend I paid for a Couch the same as I did for a lower Cabana in 2012 and a lower Bungalow in 2011! If you want to be close to the gambling and more in the shade, with a direct DJ view, the gaming pavilion can be a good location, too.

Have fun - and be sure to get host contact info from someone here on the forums as your date gets closer and you're ready to set something up, lots of good people to work with!

I have the same basic question for Sunday, June 9th. Going with my girlfriend and wondering if it is better to get a daybed/lily pad instead of just the presale and roam. The presale VIP tickets are going for $80 for both of us right now and I would probably spend a couple of hundred on drinks for the two of us.Would rather have a place to call home and stash our stuff but not spend a $1000 to do so. What would I expect to pay for a daybed and does price work like a food and beverage minimum spend? Thank you!

We have a lillypad for 4 people on that Sunday and it's $1000 minimum, the daybed was $1500 this was a booked a while ago so might have gone up. The lillypad is just drink minimum no food but the daybed is both. Booked through Anthony K and he was perfect
