Hi all apologies if this is in the wrong place.

Looking at booking my next trip and have stayed in encore last two trips. On our first trip in October the European pool was closed. On our last trip in June it was open and we really enjoyed the buzz around it so are keen to make sure its open this time round.

Looking at being there either early or late September - if we go for the latter does anyone know if the European pool will still be open?

    Much obliged

Edit: just realised that if we go early Sept we'll be there over labor day weekend - can anyone advise if this is a good or bad thing for a young(ish) couple?

Also, noticed that the Wynn's prices are through the roof in late September - any idea why this would be? I'm Irish btw so not familiar with US Holidays!

That is one of the, if not, the busiest summer holiday. So pricing will be crazy. If I was younger, I'd also take a look into Bare, Venus, Moorea for European style, and they are more of a party and young crowd.

Its not so much the European style I'm concerned about, just that the pool we prefer at our hotel will be open - sounds like it will which is sweet

I'm 32 so not sure I qualify as "younger" Thanks for your help.

My wife and I (we are 34) did Encore last year for Labor Day weekend and it was perfect. The main reason we stay there over the Cosmopolitan is the European Pool. It has a great vibe and is perfect for the age group. Most of the super obnoxious seem to head to Encore Beach, while the European Pool draws a good mix. The pool (it is basically the outdoor area of XS) had a large screen TV showing sports, blackjack tables, and typically plays good house music. Get there earlier in the day around noon to get a spot otherwise it gets crowded. Around 3pm, they turn the music up and bikini tops start coming off. Around 6pm, things start to slow down again. Plus, you don't need to pay any ridiculous entrance fee or buy tables, etc like a dayclub. We are doing the same trip this year during EDC weekend in late June.

that sounds pretty awesome- anyone know how strict they are about only letting hotel guests in? my fiancee and I will be at the Aria but would probably like to check this place out one day.

They generally have someone checking room keys at the entrance. Can't remember if it was all the time but definitely on the busier days I.e. weekend
