  • Sapphire Pool & Day Club?

    I've yet to see a review / trip report here on Sapphire Pool & Day Club for (presumably) groups of men looking to spend an afternoon there.

    * What's the format there, exactly?
    * Does the format work?
    * Should we stick to the traditional hotel pool parties?

    Considering taking a look at Sapphire on Friday, and going proper with a cabana rental at Marquee Day Club on Saturday.

    Avoid these stripclub pools... just do a normal pool party (e.g. EBC, MDC, Daylight, WR, etc) and then do the strippers later on in the night.
    EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

      I haven't been yet, but can't imagine any regular girls going to this...

        I've been and seen both regular girls and LOTS of strippers. The strippers have pink wristbands on so it's not like they're trying to be covert. It was a fun time. Still had that strip club vibe where it feels like you're getting hustled bc all the girls are asking the guys to buy them drinks. But if you open up your wallet and buy drinks for the strippers, it turns out to be a lot more fun than a strip club.

          So, to clarify, unlike a nighttime visit the pro girls are not hustling the floor for dances and excursions to the proverbial "Champagne Room"? Curious what the girls' motivations for being at the pool, since they seem to be very strongly motivated by $ as opposed to free drinks and a good time.

            curious about this as well for a bachelor party in july.

            Is there a lapdance thing going on as well? couches out in separate area or just on your chair or in pool or whatever? Bottle service available at sapphire-esque pricing?

              ive been a few times, and i've had a good time there so far. the dancers are there because if they go hang out there, they get free house fees, so it's almost like getting paid for them. also they get free non alcoholic drinks, so for a lot of them they go and lay out and party like any normal pool, except they also get 'paid'. the pool isn't topless, but pasties are fine, so pretty much all of the strippers are in pasties. for the most part, the girls don't hustle you for any dances or anything, but there are always exceptions. if you do want a dance, you go inside the club with the girl and then come back out to the pool when you're done. they have bottle service like normal pool clubs, with cabanas, daybeds, poolside couches, just like any other pool. it's not the exact same vibe as a major party pool, but at the same token, if you are a big group of guys and just want to have a good time, you can get a cabana at sapphire on a saturday for around 1/3 the price of a place like wet or ebc. if you want that major pool party experience though, then stick with the ones you know, and of course have to add daylight to the list of new options to check out.
