Pool parties - early season

Hey - I'm a long time member, but not been on in a while.

I'm next in Vegas in April 14 (10-15) and we're hoping to get to a pool party or two, but my question is - how busy, generally, are the parties that early in the Season? Do they pop off or is it just like sitting round your average hotel pool?

Last time I checked, it's May 3rd... Do you mean May? Or NEXT April?

Either way, I've been to Vegas in March-May (Before MDW) for the past 5 years and always have a blast at pool parties. Keep in mind, that there are LOTS of folks visiting from colder locations, so what is "cold" to a Vegas local, is HOT to a northerner. I'm sure that the more seasoned Vegas Vets will tell you that it just depends where you go, but I will tell you from MY experience, the places I go always have a great crowd of people ready to party in the sunshine. I also go to hotel pools, and the atmosphere is great wherever you go, depending on the people you're with... If they suck, move along!

Just to put it out there, it's like letting the inmates out from the asylum... after 6 months of freezing to death, anyone north of the Mason-Dixon line is THRILLED to be where it is sunny and not 40 degrees. I personally have spent the last month of Sundays freezing my ass off in Indiana, so getting to Vegas and putting on my bikini are high on my priority list. I have 5 days until I'm basking in the sunshine!

My advice is to give it a go... You'll have fun if you come with the right attitude.

Any day Thurs-Mon when it's warm, say 80+ there will be a good party somewhere, early or late season not an issue. Pool party's generally go March- Oct
