Anybody ever been to a pool party at flamingo?? Looking for a solid pool party with fun vibe but not pretentious. Would do a daybed but don't want to empty the wallet (saving that for the clubs at night). We are a group of guys in our 30's and 40's.
    Any feedback would be great!
Looking to go Saturday July 29th.
Any other pool parties you can recommend if not flamingo??
    Thanks

Is flamingo an actual pool party or just regular pool with some music. Trying to see if there are any other lower tier dayclub type spots.

I think technically they consider it a pool party but it will definitely be lower key than ebc, wet, marquee, etc. Other lower tier dayclubs are liquid and tao to check into. I'd recommend both over flamingo unless you are staying at flamingo.

Thanks will check those out! Still considering MDC because it is right across street from where we are staying if the price is right...

GO Pool is the adult pool party, 21 and over only. Definitely not to the level of the major pools on the strip.

The other problem is they didn't offer a minimum spend. They charge you a flat fee for the cabana and you get 1 bottle plus mixers. You then have to start a new tab for everything else. For a Friday we were quoted $600 for the cabana. With 7 of us it made no sense to do this as 1 bottle wouldn't do it for the group and by the time you add all of the other drinks, bottles, food and stuff it was the same price as a min spend elsewhere so why not just upgrade to a better place, better music for the same cost was our decision.

We always like to hit the flamingo once every trip, we also like larger club pools. The second you buy a bottle of vodka at EBC / Wet / MDC, you have spent $600 anyway so that money is a wash. The thing I like about flamingo is the larger club pools get over crowded on Saturdays, we always hit them Fridays and Sundays. To many people, they enjoy flamingo's music better than ever looping put your hands up mix played at larger clubs. Lastly, you aren't getting a cabana at any of those places for a $2K minimum spend on a Saturday, a daybed maybe, but not for 7 guys. Lastly, my group is also in their thirties, you will find a lot more people to "interact" with that are also willing to interact with you at the flamingo pool. More times than not your larger clubs are averaging 25 years old, maybe. Not that you can't be welcome there, just the average age will be much younger than you.

Thanks for responses. Was also thinking Rehab which I can get a decent minimum for Cabana. Thoughts on Rehab versus Flamingo??

Rehab and Flamingo are two totally different experiences. If you want more chill go with Flamingo, or go to Rehab for the party. We also really like Bare at the Mirage, more chill but good food and drinks
