4 males, what chance of getting in?

Hi all,

Planning our first trip to LV this coming June. Wondering how easy it is for 4 males to get into the pools.

During the week (Mon-Thurs) it doesn't seem like "headline" DJs play and it would be easier/cheaper to get into the pools? Understandably it would be much harder to get in on the weekends. Please correct me if I am wrong.

We would rather save our money of the nightclubs and would be happy to just get in to the pools as opposed to spending money on bottles. Are pre-sales required for Mon-Thurs, or will we be fine to just walk up?

Anybody have ideas of cover prices at EBC, WR, etc Mon-Thurs?

Firstly mate, dont worry about who's playing where. Worry about your venue more.

Its not really "harder" to get in. It requires more planning but it aint harder.

So... Your options. Cabanas are out of the question, but I dont think thats necessarily a bad thing. If you have to choose between cabanas at pool parties or tables at nightclubs id have tables (there are some exceptions - general admission in XS for instance is brilliant still, but thats cos you have lots of places to check out, inside and outside etc).

Tuesday to Thursday you wont need pre-sale. They arent big days for pool parties. Just turn up. Over the weekend though, get pre-sale tickets to make sure you dont have any issues getting in. I am not even sure if many pool parties are open Tuesday to Thursday.

Monday Bare Pool at Mirage gets a lot of action.
Tuesday quiet
Wednesday quite
Thursday was pretty quiet and that was Labor Day Weekend when i was at wet last year

Cover will be minicsule on those days. Probably about $20.

What about Weekends. Are presale tix guaranteed entry? Suggestions on places? say mid may 5/17 weekend

^^ presale tix guarantee entry but there will be a time you have to be there by, say 11am or 12 noon. After that time you'll most likely make it in but could be waiting a while.

Guaranteed EXCEPT keep in mind that security will scrutinise you for dress code/drunkenness, especially if you are a big group of guys. Best way forward is to split into groups of 4 max and pretend not to know each other in the line.

If the club is at capacity, you have to wait before being let in (but will have priority over chumps in the GA line)

Encore Beach Club and Wet Republic are the best of the big pools for GA that will be open when you are there. Check out Tao Beach on Thursday, a ton of forum members will be there. You might be able to swing a chair or daybed at Tao Beach for what you'd spend on entry/drinks.

Thanks for feedback. I guess Tuesday-Thursday we won't be too fussed and we can do other stuff during the day - go to the shops, walk the casinos etc.

What would EBC be like on a Tuesday-Thursday? Still a good place to mingle and make friends? Asking as we would be staying either Encore or Wynn so easy access, not too far etc.

for 4 guys there before 12 with presales i think your advice is a bit excessively cautious. Would be rare to be drunk that early unless they hadn't gone to sleep yet ;-)

It is one of the best pool parties in Vegas, but EBC isn't open Monday-Thursday.

Ah I see. So there is no pool party, does that mean the pool itself is closed as well?
Interested because it looks like an awesome pool and even if there is no party would love to swim in it!

You might be able to swim in it on Thursday @ Surrender "Splash Dance" if that is running when you are there (which I think it is)
