Pleasure Pools - Planet Hollywood

Just curious, has anyone been there? I'm hearing a lot of good things about it, and I'll be staying at PH. I'm considering whether to hit the pool there for MDW or to head out to some other pool. Any suggestions?

It really depends what you are looking for in a pool. If you are just looking to nurse a hangover, lay out and get some sun, its OK. If you are looking for a full on party with a crazy crowd, go to a day club (MDC, EBC, Wet, Daylight).

PH Pleasure Pools are basically two square pools surrounded by a lot of concrete. I went over MDW last year to check out the scene. Pretty sure you can get a cabana for a cheap min ($500). They had a DJ (obviously not a big name), and had a bikini contest where they walked down a runway setup over one of the pools.

IMO, i'd rather pay a cover to get into a better venue / better crowd / better music, because in the end the drinks cost the same amount of money both places.

Thanks for the info. I've been to Vegas plenty of times, but this will be my first time out there for MDW. I'll be at the UFC fights Saturday night, and I'm just trying to plan out the rest of Saturday night, and Sunday.

Ill be there again this year, another couple I may be meeting up with said they are interested in going to the UFC fights.. Any idea what time it gets out? Probably going to hit up Hakkasan/Light afterwards

It really depends on how long the fights go on for. On average, most fight nights end around 930-10 but that's just an estimation. I'm thinking about already going dressed for the clubs to the fights and just heading out from there. I still have no idea where to go after the fights, I'm leaning towards Surrender or Moon. There's a total of 12 of us going, but not everyone is going to the fights...hopefully the others don't mind waiting in line for us to get there.
