  • Not Trying to Be Cheap, But... (pool parties)

I am heading to Las Vegas this weekend with my wife for the Def Leppard show. We want to do one of the pool parties on Saturday. We are staying at MGM Signature but we are open to all pool options. I really want us to have a spot to chill. I was prepared for $500-$1k for a table or similar. Will I be SOL? Any suggestions?

    Thanks

You should be able to get a pair of chairs or possibly a daybed.

Okay. My wife just sent me a picture of her bikini choices. I want a cabana! If I up my budget to $2k will I get close anywhere for this Saturday?

What does one have to do with the other?

If it is just you and your wife, I really don't think you need a cabana. They are laid out for groups and just the two of you are gonna look lost in it unless you are planning to invite other people to join you. Now I have a feeling you might be thinking about the cabanas that can be closed off from the public, so while at the party you could have some private fun with your wife, but honestly I don't think it's worth it and not sure you would be able to get one for $2k. If I were you I get a daybed for $750 at Wet, have some fun at the party and get each other turned on, then head back to the room to release it all there.

Guys, thanks for replies. Might just opt for the daybed. Should I contact a host ahead of time and what is the suggested tip%?

Yes contact Thomas Gorman, and 50-100 is fine. His number is in the Pool host contact thread.

I think for couples that wanna party but mainly hang with each other maybe meet other couples, places like Bare, Moorea, Venus, are better.. sounds like you two want to party together versus being in the midst of chaos? I'm not sure Wet is the move, other than for convenience.
