I know that Daylight was remodelled last year but I can't seem to find anyone mentioning going there since this took place. Anybody been since, what's it like now?

Also, any opinions on best locations for daybeds, cabanas etc?

I'm of the opinion that nothing can redeem Daylight, but I'd love to be proven wrong.

I've been to Daylight 3 times and service lacked on each visit. Line management, bouncers, and bartenders all we're unprofessional and rude. I'm not expecting people to be friendly, most people in the industry are overworked and underpaid, but pretty much the entire staff was subpar compared to reputable venues like Encore Beach Club or Wet Republic.

The aesthetic of concrete and more concrete is pretty depressing. That's something that they were supposed to be working on fixing but I'm unsure of how much effort they want to put into the place.

They don't seem to have consistent crowds and when they do they overpack the venue. I went for Zedd once and it was absolutely packed, and I went on a Friday once and it was essentially dead, I've seen more lively hotel pools.

The stage is actually quite impressive, but that setup changes the vibe pretty significantly. Daylight always felt more like a concert than a pool party. That could work for some people, but if you are on this forum I would assume you are looking for a different vibe.

Overall if you changed the management, fired all the staff, redecorated, changed the marketing, then maybe it would be a great venue, but still the stage does give it a different vibe that I think is somewhat unavoidable.
