  • Encore Beach Club - Bachelor Party Group of 20

    Hi Everyone,

I know I'm way early but due to the big group size I wanted to hear all of your opinions as we formulate the game plan.

We're doing a bachelor party the weekend of May 13 - 15th and planning on the main event being Encore Beach Club Saturday the 14th.

My question is whether you think we're better off going with a lower cabana vs. going with 2 daybeds/couches and doing two groups of 10. The reason to split would be to keep the total minimums lower.

Want to know if you think a $10k budget is realistic - this past summer we did a day bed with 10 guys with a $2800 minimum so I'm thinking two of those near each other would keep the costs lower.

Open to advice and thanks in advance!

IMHO 2 daybeds hands down vs cabana.

Thank you both! KP - would the 2 daybeds still allow for 10 entries each?

Good point. Prob not. I would just get 8 to buy pre sale, get there early like the rest of the group will and add it to the total and divide it up evenly. For math purposes $50x8 so $400 among 20 is only $20 more per person.

It's such a minimal amount no one should have a problem with it. By the time everything gets set up and stuff is brought out, the 8 should already be inside.

I'd do what KP suggested. That way it's cheaper but more importantly you guys are right in the action, vs cabana is set farther back.

I dunno man - for 20 guys I reckon you need that lower cabana. Daybeds are not anything like big enough for 10 guys to even crowd around.

With the lower cabana you get the inside bit, the private pool, the extra loungers. They're far better. Plus youll get chicks galore coming thru.

$10 should be enough. Thats like 12-14 bottles right.

This. There's something about the cabana that the ladies love. A more exclusive vibe and a lot of girl groups want a space to chill away from the center of the action.

^^Tomm and RayDay have changed my opinion lol. 20 is a pretty large number. you can def create your own party with that many people. and thinking about it, I always remember large groups of women hanging out in the lower cabana's (upper is different story but lower could be a lot of fun)

Thanks fellas! Great advice - I think we're going to go for it Saturday and try to get a grand cabana.

Sorry to hijack your thread, how much would a lower cabana go for on a Sunday for 20 guys and girls with Guetta playing?

                          Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to follow up on this now that we're getting a little closer to the day. I received some pricing back and wanted to hear all of your opinions...

Here's what I received from an EBC host:

Since there are 20 of us, he suggested combo of a lower cabana & Lilly Pad.

                          Lower Cabana (12 entries) - $5k min
                          Lilly Pad (8 entries) - $2800 min

With tax & tip that gets us to $10,374 (33%) not including the shake for the host. Should I be asking for a little more, especially if we are getting two pieces of real estate from him? (lower mins, bottle specials, etc.)

He suggested that if we went with the lower cabana alone and did pre-sale for the rest of the guys that there would only be 12 wristbands issued for the cabana and that not everyone would have access to it.

Anyways, would love to hear all of your expert opinions and any additional setups I haven't considered yet.

                          Thanks in advance!

I didn't think you needed wrist bands for lower cabanas? doesn't make sense either because that would mean you couldn't bring people back to the cabana that you met at the pool. EBC does seem to be getting more strict on the walk in numbers so the host might just be saying that. (XS got new management that came over from Hak group so I'm wondering if they are implementing a more strict approach to BS).

Most likely won't be able to get lower mins or bottle specials. Prices are pretty set in stone. but it's worth a shot. let us know how it goes.

Keep us posted. From other posts, it seems like EBC is getting super strict because they have the most demand for their parties. I'm not planning a trip until August, but I'm anxious to hear how others make out prior to my trip.
