MLK Weekend day options

Hey guys... Just booked a trip in Jan. I've never been to Vegas in Winter, so I'm not sure what to expect. From what I understand, things to do on Saturdays are GBDC or Lavo Brunch. Anyone recommend one over the other? Why? And what do people wear to these things?

From what I have seen, Marquee is having a party in the dome on Sunday the 17th... Never been to Marquee, or a winter Pool party... Can anyone give me an idea of what to expect there?

I have done GBDC the last 3 years during my annual dec/jan trip.

This year we're going to have more girls then guys so we're going the Lavo Brunch route.

I can honestly say GBDC is a blast as long as it's crowded. Went one time and it was dead. The other 2 times was epic.

I can let you know how Lavo Brunch is after I'm there in a week and a half (12/18-12/20)

Wonder why it was dead that one time vs. the other two times. What time did you go to GBDC and what time did you leave?

Question - why does the number of girls / guys impact your decision to go to Lavo brunch? What time do you plan on going / staying to that? Sorry if these are dumb questions, just never been in the winter before and trying to decide what our best plan of action is.

Would love an update / trip report once you return if possible.

I think it was the weekend we went there. GBDC hosting a specific party vs a normal GBDC saturday. It could have also been one was more popular that weekend then the other due to promoters. Not 100% sure!

And we decided on Lavo Brunch this year because all the girls really like the idea of a "brunch" club vs just a normal day club. I'm just happy we got everyone to agree on something to be honest! We plan on going around 11:30.
