What's on May 14th - 20th ?

Hi everyone,

Fourth trip to Las Vegas, this time it's not for work (brilliant!) and am looking for an easy way to find 'whats on' during my stay?

I can't seem to find one place which lists all the clubs and who is playing at each, is there such a thing?

I'm there 14th of MAY, leave on the 20th.

I've got a wide variety of tastes, anything from Kaskade to Hip-Hop...probably not trance, heavy prog or top 40's.

To be honest, I think it's still a bit early to know where to go. The complete DJ lineups haven't been released yet, so maybe wait a couple weeks.

But as a rough plan (which I will update when we have a bit more info about DJs etc):

May 14 (Tues) - 1OAK (Joey Orr 586.873.4876) will be open format and you should be able to get a b2g1 deal.

May 15 (Wed) - Ordinarily, I'd recommend Surrender on a Wednesday (Bassnectar is on this night which will be very dubby, dnb, breakbeat). But because I've suggested Surrender below, the other places I'd recommend are The Act or Chateau.
The Act is kinda weird and polarises people - some people like it, some people think it's sickening (to give you an idea, there are trannies and other performers etc that do stuff). It is also quite expensive. Jason Habel (702.287.9657) is a contact there, which I've taken from the host contact thread -- I don't have a particular person to recommend.
I know kazflair now has Chateau as his go-to place on Wednesdays because the patio view at Chateau is money. You could get a good bottle deal here on a Wednesday night. If this interests you, hit up Korye Blackmon (858.309.2085).

May 16 (Thurs day) - Liquid (Isaac Kaz Curry 702.900.6755 i.e. kazflair on these forums) or Tao Beach (Chris Traer 702.510.5286). Both will be more intimate than the mega WR/MDC/EBC.

May 16 (Thurs night) - Redfoo @ Surrender (Anthony Khotsikian 702.238.6186). This is Hakkasan's industry night, but since I think Hakkasan will probably be the best place on Sunday, then Surrender will be a good party this night.

May 17 (Fri day) - Ditch Fridays @ Palms (Chad Noyes 630.903.1993). Even though it might not have the name of the mega-pools, this is always a great party. Recess Fridays @ Encore Beach Club (Anthony Khotsikian 702.238.6186) might appeal to you instead but there is no headliner on this day as far as I can tell.

May 17 (Fri night) - Light (Noah Ortiz 323.919.6529) even though the lineup isn't out yet. Noah is a very well-respected host here and always helps JC members out. Above & Beyond are at XS and Gareth Emery at Marquee. I don't think either of those will appeal to you. Hakkasan is another idea, but I think that will probably be your Sunday option.

May 18 (Sat day) - Benny Benassi at Marquee Dayclub (Cliff Orr 586.489.4531). I really like this guy; I've seen him like 4 times around the world and he always plays a good set full of bangers.

May 18 (Sat night) - Kaskade @ Marquee Nightclub (Cliff Orr 586.489.4531). Looks like a Marquee Saturday double.

May 19 (Sun day) - Wet Republic (Thomas Gorman 702.340.6498). No idea who the DJ will be, but it should be someone big since they now have the Hakkasan DJs performing there (deadmau5, Calvin Harris, Tiesto, etc). I don't think you'd want Sultan and Ned Shepherd at EBC and although Kaskade is @ Marquee Dayclub, I'm suggesting you see him the night before.

May 19 (Sun night) - Hakkasan (Thomas Gorman 702.340.6498). Not sure who the DJ will be yet, but doesn't look like there is a headliner at XS. However, you could get a good bottle deal at XS if you were happy to listen to the resident (i.e. b1g1 vodka or $595 goose + moet deal)

All of this is subject to Light opening and knowing what its industry night will be. If it's Wednesday, then it will probably be better than The Act/Chateau, and you can check somewhere else out on the Friday night. Also, that schedule is quite EDM-heavy so let me know if you want more hiphop in there. Once Hakkasan/Light have released their lineups, it will be a bit easier to give you a more informed itinerary.

Ah cheers, as I thought, it's a bit hard to plan this far out.

Am leaning towards Kaskade @ Marquee on Sat 18th, I've used Justen Crews before @ Marquee - is he still a host there?

Will be myself and my wife, what do you think a cheap table in either the Boombox or around the pool will cost? 1 bottle I'm guessing?

Yeh, entry level table will be 1 bottle minimum. Justen is still there as far as I'm aware (303.229.0618)
