9-10 guys heading to Wet Republic on last Friday in May.

Staying at MGM so sounds like we could get GA for free if before 1pm. Do you still have to que with everyone else, or is there a different que jump line from the hotel? Also are 9-10 guys likely to get in without some kind of botle service/VIP package?

If not what the pros/cons of these ones below (cant afford a cabana and day beds are too small / a bit club tropicana with all guys on ha ha). Pulled the prices from another thread and they are probably all in budget.

    Dance Deck (10) 1,500
    Dance Floor (10) 1,500
    Stage (10) 1,500
    Lounge (10) 1,000

Do you all have to pay the 20-30 dollar entry on top, or if you get one of these is entry price included??

    cheers

    Hi mate,

Wet Republic for is much better General Admissions instead of going for Cabanas. The design of the place doesnt really lend itself to the VIP game.

If you are in MGM, just ensure you are out of your rooms and ready for the day by 1130 and down by the pool area by midday latest. You will get comp wristbands/entry cards if there before 12ish.

I was there over Labor Day weekend last year - which is probably the busiest weekend in Vegas - and we didnt queue for more than 10 minutes on any day. I think we went there 3 times, but we were there at 12.

Those prices you have there are way way low. Wet Republic cabanas this year are more expensive than Encore Beach Club. As in $10k for a bungalow, $7.5k for a cabana etc. This is because the talent they have from Hakkasan.

Its why if I were you, I would be a bit creative with entry with all your boys. Go in staggered groups of 2 or 3 max. Dont all roll up at once in a big group. It probably wont matter anyway, but dont chance it. Wet will be jumping this year when the likes of Calvin Harris are on. They can afford to be picky. Last year... not so much. Youll find you wont all be around at the same times in the morning anyway, just take your phone with you and be available to meet up inside.

You'll probably pay up to $50 for entry this year I imagine, but like I say - dont bother booking cabanas at wet republic. The fun is to be had in and on the edge of the pool. Save your cabana money for Daylight, Encore Beach Club, Tao Beach and Marquee Day Club.

For me the best pool party in Vegas hands down is Encore Beach Club. This year these is of course Daylight opening and I imagine that will compete with EBC.

10 guys you will need a 1st or 2nd floor cabana and that will cost you $5k plus 28% tax and gratuity for a 2nd floor cabana, $7.5k for a 1st floor.

I had a 2nd floor cabana last year and it was immense. Best day ive had in Vegas. The 1st floor cabanas are the best, but they're more expensive at 7.5k

I would recommend booking up with a $5k minimum spend, and get there at 1130. NO LATER than 1145. By 12 you are getting gazumped by serious high rollers literally throwing down $15k to $20k for last minute cabana bookings.

Thats a total of $6400 between the 9 or 10 of you.

You wont get a cabana in any pool party for 10 guys for less than $5k on weekends. If its too much go pre-sale.

Wait what??? 2nd floor cabana??? WTH? and FYI MDW and NYE are the 2 busiest weekends of the year. Terrible advice IMO. EBC is a great pool party though, but dont settle for upstairs. Bottom line, if you can afford real estate on a holiday weekend, GET IT, no matter where you go.

Can you do w/o a cabana at the Marquee Day Club or is it so crowded its a requirement vs general admission? Limited budget and wondering whether to spend more there or at XS on a Sat night?

I dont think there's any real requirement at any of the pool parties for a cabana. Sure if you have the cash then go for it.

Generally I think pool parties are the best thing about Vegas, they are better than clubs as its a more carefree atmosphere.

However to temper that I think that big money is better spent at nightclubs as opposed to pool parties if I were to choose.

This is because I think you have a better time in clubs with a table, but at pool parties its negligible. You still have an amazing time in general admission and alot of the fun with meeting people etc is in and around the pool as opposed to in your cabana. If you go with a great mixed bunch of guys and girls then maybe get a cabana, but if you wanna meet people you're just as well going in general admission.

Everywhere is busy at weekends, but ive never been to a pool party so busy you cant move like it often gets like in clubs. Bare in mind MDC is smaller than EBC and Wet though.

You'll have an amazing time what ever you do, but if you are looking at money here, spend your money on Bottle Service in clubs over Bottle Service in pool parties. So basically, spend your big money in XS.

Thanks - perfect reasoning why to spend more at XS. That's what we'll do.

Everything you mentioned about the pools, can be said about XS. It's huge and you can go out by the bar where the gaming tables are, meet tons of people, girls, etc.. without a table and be away from the loud inside. Walking around in heels for a girl is a bitch so I get the use for tables at a club, but walking around on hot concrete bare foot all day with no where to layout or put your stuff sucks too. I have been to MDC when it has been too crowded, not EBC though, even on a big DJ I was able to get away. I think with a large group you always should look at getting some type of seating if you can afford it, if it were myself and a buddy or two, GA isn't that bad pool or club.
