  • Wet Republic - Thursday March 28th

Hey, Im in Vegas on Thursday March 28th with a few friends and we want to experience a Pool Party. From what I can see, Wet Republic seems to be my best option.

Can someone please tell me the following:
    - What does the cost to get in?
    - How much does drink generally cost?
    - Are they really worth it?

    Thanks

I would have thought Liquid [contact kazflair on these forums via PM (http://forums.jackcolton.com/member....538-kazflair)] or Tao Beach [contact Chris Traer 702.510.5286] would be a better option for Thursday.
EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

I don't think Wet is open yet on Thursdays or if they will even do Thursdays.

It's Industry Day, so here's the general rule

Industry/Girl groups (girls have to be cute enough for the guys next to em to hit on, haha) - Comps/No mins
          Daybeds- B1G1 or 500-750 min
          Cabanas - B2G1 1,000-1500 min
Loungers - $100 min per (couples can share)

We do have a Michael Jordan Weekend April 4-7th, so this will throw this pricing of for that weekend as all of our cabanas are sold out every day Thurs-Sun already.

I'm there April 3-7 with 2 other ladies, staying at Aria. If we "qualify" are there comps/no mins available, or is that a no-go due to the MJ event?

For comps/no mins, have to be Industry groups or all girls of atleast 5 or more (attractive group). You can do chairs but go early, those go fast. Thursday won't be a problem usually with the mins, Fri/Sat are usually the day the mins go up and the bidding wars start.

Uhmmm, bidding wars????? So, if we have already made an arrangement with a host, and, negotiated an amount, can that be pulled out from under us, and we're left standing there the day of like a deer caught in headlights unless we pony up more cash??

That can happen anywhere. It's why u should use a reputable host. If u get bait and switched at the door your host is ethier shady or inexperienced

Ok good, both my hosts have great reputations from this website, and they are directly affiliated with the venues we are going to. I wasn't worried about a bait and switch, just worried about something that was out of their hands that they have no control over.

Bidding war example = we open at 11am, you tell me you're coming by 1130-12, I hold it for you. It's 1230 and you're still not there, between 12-1230 there's 2-3 groups that just walk up with no reservation and ready to go, even do a higher min. You won't lose your reservation as long as there's inventory but on Sat a lot of places sell out and you never really turn down walk ups ready to spend. You should always have atleast one person check in at close to open as possible. If you're reservation is on the sheets and min approved, and availability for the seating you reserved, then that's what you will get. A lot of people flake, don't show on time, etc.. And you have people early, that walk up ready to go, so the key is to be on time/early with at least one person to check in, after that come whenever. Bait and switch is a verbal thing, but if it's on our reservation sheet the type of seating you wanted, we have to honor that min.
