Help us plan April 12 - 16

Hey all, another Vegas noob here looking for some JC gurus advice

Were two mid 20s Aussie guys looking to get the most out of this crazy town while were here. I want to focus mainly on seeing the best pool parties as I've been to nightclubs all over the world, but never a pool party of this scale or awesomeness.

I've tried to get an idea from searching these forums but the amount of info is overwhelming. So,

Recommendations for the Saturday to Monday on the dates above? Thinking I'd like it to be EDC/Marquee (would prefer a big trance/electro dj over someline like Guetta) but would be just as happy at Wet, were not interested in cabanas/daybeds etc, and

Being 2 guys/no girls/not looking to spend 5 grand, what should be our plan of attack for getting into places the easiest? Email dayclub hosts and hope for the best? Lay on the Australian charm on a group of girls in line?
Do we need to pre organize tickets or can you just pay at the door?

Any other general tips/info would be greatly appreciated, since were only around for 4 nights I really want to make the most of it. I'll kick myself if we get home and realize we missed out on something.

The other thing I wanted to ask was about GA etiquette - just try and find a spot to put your towel/stuff, or just travel as light as possible because there isn't anywhere?

Travel light my friend - phone, money clip with cash/cards/room key, sunscreen, towel. Get a ziplock bag and put your phone and other essentials in there to make sure they stay dry. Don't worry about your sunscreen/towel - no one really wants those.

Then just carry the ziplock around with you in your pocket all day. Think of it like a music festival.

Travel really light. You can check a bag, but don't take too much. I usually just take a cred card and ID, put in my zip pocket on shorts. Or open a tab up and then the waitress/bartender has your stuff safe.

Both Encore Beach Club and Marquee Day Club provide towels so you don't need to bring a towel

Any info on Wet at the moment other than Calvin Harris' residency? I checked their site the other day and could've sworn it featured Steve Aoki briefly...
