  • Need advice for Bachelor Party, staying at Mandalay Bay

Coming to Vegas from April 26-28 with 5-7 guys and staying at the hotel at Mandalay Bay. We wanted to do a pool party at Mandalay Bay and not have to go somewhere else. A few questions...

    1) Is the pool at Mandalay Bay too family oriented? Most of the guys are single guys and want to have fun/flirt. All guys are late 20s to early 30s. Should we go someplace else?

    2) should we get a daybed, cabana, villa, etc? We want to be in the think of it and not too secluded, but also be comfortable.

You'd be much better off going to a proper pool party rather than going to the hotel pool. Don't waste your money on a cabana/daybed there.

Definitely try and hit up Light during the night time though, which is inside MB.
EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

Yes, nothing open yet there. There is Moorea the European style pool, fun but you have a lot of other options, all of the pools will be open that weekend. Yes, get a daybed/cabana if it's in budget. Do a big pool, do a smaller pool, experience as much of the pool parties as you can. Definitely get to Light, it's the Grand Opening weekend and it's a MB
