  • Tao Beach Cabanas?

Im going to be in Vegas from 3-14 to 3-18 and am looking into going to Tao Beach on their opening day, 3-15. What are the cabanas like? I cant seem to find any good pictures of them. Are they out of the way and away from the action? Would you reccomend I get a daybed or couch over the cabana? What exactly is in the cabana? Any help is much appreciated. Hopefully once I get this first trip under my belt I wont be such a rookie anymore!

First, make sure you're dealing with Chris Traer over at Tao Beach - - he has a legendary reputation around these parts and it's well deserved.

Tao Beach is on a smaller footprint than other pool parties, so there aren't really any areas that are 'away from the action'. Check out http://taobeach.com/virtual-tour/ and you'll see there are the covered couches / chairs and then behind those, you'll see the Cabanas.

Based on the figures I'm seeing, a Tao Beach Cabana might be the best deal for Vegas Daylife, pricing will vary between $1,000 and $2,000 depending on the day, but if memory serves correct, you can get up to 25 people in for the Cabana.

Compare that to $4,000+ for MDC, EBC, Wet and those cabanas are for 12-15 people.

Edit: No worries, a Mod can move it to the other section

The cabanas at Tao Beach are definitely more private and secluded--they are definitely NOT in the action. However they are large and can accommodate a good group of people. If you're on a budget, this may be a good option, because Tao Beach is probably the oldest running pool party next to the Hard Rock. The daybeds are actually pretty cool, as they're in the main area with a lot of traffic and around the pool. Very reasonably priced as well, but you get what you pay for.

There are much better options: Marquee Day Club, Encore Beach Club, Wet Republic and some new places opening up, but be prepared for higher minimums. Tao Beach is decent, but not great if you're looking to go all out. I would rate it as a Tier III pool club. I usually only stop by this place when I'm staying on the Venetian property out of convenience.

Thanks Maydayrelay. I tried to get in touch with a host for liquid but haven't heard anything back. And the only other one that will be open while I'm there is EBC opening on 3-16 (weather permitting). Gonna go there Saturday for sure

I'm at Liquid, feel free to PM. I'm off for the opening to party as I'm working at Haze too now. I'll be bringing the party to Liquid. Cabana 6 (my favorite) will be crazy!

Stage cabanas at tao beach are great. Smaller than the others, but right on the pool.
