Pool parties opening March 14 - 18? Ditch Friday?

I talked to a rep at Angel Management and they said the tentative date for Wet Republic is 3/22. I guess they're also doing some remodeling at Wet? I will be in town with friends 3/14 - 3/18. We are staying at Palms Place so I was wondering if Ditch Friday should be open for Spring Break? I know it's weather permitting but usually it's in the 80's by the middle of March. Sometimes 90's but stats are mid 70's to lower 80's by then. I know MTV has did a Spring Break at The Palms over the past few years but it doesn't look like they are doing it this year? Do you know of any pool parties that may be open by that weekend? Thanks.

They must have pushed Wet Back, I heard it was opening the 9th.
Liquid/Bare March 14th for sure. I've been hearing all kinds of dates for the other pools so I can't confirm solidly. If weather is in the 80s then it will be a good time. If it's 70s or below, it's a lil cold after getting out of the water. Check weather that week, make a reservation, but play it buy ear based on weather. From Mar-Apr, our good days were every day we had good weather.

Pauly d is opening that thursday I believ.. and another one of the djs on the light roster for opening weekend. I should find out more at meetings next week. My wife and I are going to be at Palms Place Mar 16 to 19. We're driving to Las Vegas.

Back in my day, we had to walk uphill in the snow for 2 miles to get to the pool parties. Now get off my lawn.

Seriously, I read that Palms pool has a more diverse crowd than some other pools. If we're in our 40's, should we check out the "main" Palms pool? Or should we just stay over at the Palms Place pool, which I understand is just for relaxing.

Yes, she's old enough to be your mom. But we used to live in Europe, and we're down with European style beach attire. Is that allowed at any Palms pool? Or do we have to go out to Lake Mead for that?

I don't know about the European style beach attire(if you mean a speedo) I haven't seen any speedos at the palms pool but I have seen some guys sporting the the tight fitting ultra short trunks that are made from the same material as a speedo.

As far as being too "old" for Ditch Friday or the main Palms pool in general...my wife is turning 40 the same weekend you are there and we will be there celebrating her birthday and weather permitting we will be at the pool on Saturday for a few hours. We also are staying at the Palms Place and have been to ditch several times. IMO it does have a little more diverse crowd. Besides, age is just a number if you have the right attitude.

I don't think Ditch will be happening that weekend because I can't find anything about it on the palms web site or Spy on Vegas. I did read somewhere that the Main pool will be open though Starting Saturday the 16th.

The Palms place pool is more mellow, but on busy weekends it still gets crowded. You just might see a few kids at certain times of the day.


Or by European did you mean topples? Do a search, I believe Bare is, but I don't remember what hotel it's at.

Ok.. Just saw bare is at Mirage. And the Palms pool opens March 15th.

Tao Beach – Tao beach is rumored to open March 15th (based on sources)
Encore Beach Club – Encore beach club has posted it will open March 16, 2013!
Wet Republic – Wet Republic will open March 22, 2013
Marquee Dayclub – Marquee is planning to be officially opening by the end of March

Bare is open and European, definitely check it out.
Moorea is open too, but this past weekend it wasn't European or Adult Only. However, the Mandalay Pool just opened up and may be an option now too.
Liquid, Tao Beach are also open, Liquid isn't Euro just a party.

I just saw posted that marquee dayclub is opening 3/15. Any info on this? I thought they opened later in the season..
