WHO:
Group of 6-8 Guys in Early/Mid 30's heading out for a Bachelor Party in Late July / Early August. (Open to suggestions of weekends to hit/avoid). We're clean cut, well-socialized guys who know how to handle ourselves (ie not guidos/hillbillies/etc). Current plan is a Thursday thru Sunday trip though we're considering stretching it to a Monday flight out.
Looks to me like we'll be staying at the Palms due to having an inside track on some steep discounts on their suites (~50% ish) via a travel agent friend. I know it's a bit off strip but not a big deal to grab a cab. We definitely plan on working with hosts for most party/stripclub functions. Possibly for bars if we opt for bottle service?
Looks like the rough plan is:
Pool Party One Day
First thought is to hit Ditch Fridays since it's right there at the Palms. I'm aware it's not the hottest party in town anymore but it seems reviews point to it still being a pretty good time. Thoughts? Looking for some decent eyecandy with fun crowd to mix and mingle with. We're considering getting a cabana.
• I feel like I read somewhere that mins are ~$1500 for Ditch for a cabana? Pretax/Grat?
• Is location of Cabana pre-booked or influenced by host tip ala Clubs?
• Bottle service available or is it all premade drinks/beers?
• Other thoughts/Pointers/suggestions for first time pool party crew?
Shake Joint One Night
Had heard OG / SR / Saph were 3 of the better options. Our group will likely be going in with a couple-few hundred to spend per person. Certainly not ballers... but not deadbeats either. I see us getting bottle service (seems like most offer 2 for 1 bottles as part of limo/entry/table package?) for convenience. Basically we're looking for somwhere with talent (obviously), that will set us up with a decent table/booth.
More than likely the Bachelor will be the main one getting sent back to for the 30/60min VIP sessions and the rest of the crew will be focusing on drinking, tipping, getting $20 laps, socializing out front. I had heard some clubs are better set up for dances out front and others are more about the hustle to get in the back (though it's present at all spots no doubt).
Definitely looking for feedback on this as well, though I'll likely crosspost in the Bachelor/StripClub forum as well.
Bar Hopping most of the rest of the time
Not really big on the premier club scene and the hassle that comes with it. Looking more for the laid back clubs/lounges and bars/pubs. Definitely looking for suggestions in that arena as well. I've been to a few different places around town in my 3 trips out to Vegas but I'm definitely looking for additional options.
Very interested in feedback from you guys. Been sorting through all the threads here and will continue to do so, but figured I'd start a thread to get more specific feedback.
