  • What if not everyone does bottles

I'm planning a bachelor party and because we're doing a pool party and nightclub, not everyone can afford the bottle service for the pool party. So a little over half the guys are gonna do bottles, the other half won't. So couple of questions:

If we do Marquee, the other guys can just buy tickets. But if we do Wet Republic, what's the best way to get the other guys in?

And, once they get in, will they be able to join us at our cabana or daybed, and just not drink? Or will they have to hang out elsewhere?

What day are you planning on going to WR? They have tickets available for Saturdays (WR's best day) and LDW events on their website-https://ticketdriver.com/wetrepublic/buy/tickets. There was literally no wait in line to get in when my buddy and I had tickets for a Saturday in May, while general admission had a long line that was hardly moving around 12:30-1. If you're not going on one of those days, hit up Thomas Gorman-702-326-6774, let him know you're from JC. Thomas always takes care of the JC people.

As far as the guys being able to join the cabana that aren't on your reservation, it shouldn't be issue.

Once you're inside anyone can join your table as long as it's okay with you.

I'm curious how you will handle the 2 parties.
For the guys that can't afford bottles, how will you handle it:
          1. Are you going to let them drink your bottles?
          2. Or will you make them pay you per drink?
          3. Or are they just gonna throw in whatever cash they can afford and you guys are all just gonna rage.

(If have been in this situation before. We usually do #3 and tell our buddies to make up for it some other time. Which really never happens, but who cares. Don't be a cheap ass in Vegas)

I wish I could do #3. I can afford the split. But I dont drink...like maybe 1-2/night. But I like what was said in another thread...you are buying real estate. The alcohol/getting in is just a bonus. That being said...you'd prob have a space not enough to fit everyone at the same time of course.

depends on the day and the minimum, you minimum may still cover the entry fr your buddies that dont want to do bottle service. or you guys can go in and your friends can come to the line a few minuets later and say they are joining your cabana, the worst case they have to still pay cover, but they wont have to wait long tho

Ok then umm I'm a little confused. Let's say we have a big group - 14 people. What stops me from saying there's 3 of us, paying way less for bottle service, then having everyone else come in thru the presale line and join up later. The whole party splits the whole thing. Is the only downside of that less bottles at the actual venue, or is there something I'm missing?

You'll get a smaller table in a bad location. The higher minimum you commit to the better the table.

If only 3 guys are listed and you only commit to 1 or 2 bottles you're gonna get a shitty table if it's a tier 1 club

F&B minimum and location are your two 2 main factors in play. With a larger group you're going to pay a higher minimum but most likely get a better location. With a lower minimum you're going to get an okay to not decent location. Once you reserve a location though anyone you want can join you. Frankly, at Wet Republic the only non ideal location in my opinion is the corner couches up by the main bar area. Those are set back from everything. My first rule when doing any kind of table service is minimum. The lower the minimum the better. At least then if I spend over, I know I'm getting my moneys worth. With high minimums I always feel a bit cheated because then I feel I have to reach to hit a certain number and you end up giving liquor away to people.
