Pool Recommendation for Family LOL

Sorry guys, I know this probably isn't the correct forum but most of you guys are super knowledgeable about Vegas so here goes.
I'm in town from Aug 26-Sept 2. I just recently had a son so this will be our first "FAMILY" trip to Vegas. We are doing this trip with another couple with 2 kids. This will be a different type of Vegas vacation for me.

We're staying at Marriott Grand Chateau but the pool at Marriott sucks.

Is there a pool that you guys could recommend that's family friendly?

Also because my son will only be 4 months at that point I would need to block him from the sun. How much are cabana rentals?

Also, are there any other places or events that you could recommend?

its been a few years since we went to Wet Republic @ MGM ('09), but i can tell you that the MGM FAMILY POOL seemed pretty awesome, we took a ride around their giant lazy river and hung out waiting for wet republic to get going (got there way early.) We didnt need to show anything to get into that pool area since they just let anyone walk through to goto WR. But you might need to get a second opinion from someone whos been more recently.

MGM or Mandalay Bay for a family type pool day.

My 7 and 4 y/o love house music. They would enjoy a pool party with a house DJ haha.

In the future if you want to stay at a family friendly timeshare/hotel close to the strip with an awesome pool. Check out the Wyndham Grand Desert, its right down the street from you towards the Hard Rock. When my wife and I take the kids we stay there in a 2 bedroom suite and bring my parents to watch them at night while we go out partying.
