I haven't been to Wet this year, but last year they did do a very thorough search, but we were allowed to bring in our sunscreen. Like has been mentioned, it would be absurd to ban customers from bringing in sunscreen.
Granted, I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but that's just crazy.Last edited by nora; 07-06-2013, 06:52 PM.

Basically, the rule of thumb is stay classy and attempt to look good. Some guys can pull off tanks, some guys can't. You can kinda look in the mirror and tell.
(Note: unless your wifebeater is lined in $100 bills, you won't look good in it. Athletic wear is also typically rejected at the door.)
Just came back from Vegas, wore tanks at every pool party, no problem.Vegas trips: 11/2004, 11/2008, MayOD 2011, 9/2012, July Invasion 2013, 2/2015, 7/2015

We had NO problem getting sunscreen into Ditch or Daylight. I think the extend of the security check at either was some odd attempt to bend my wallet. Not sure what that accomplished. I never even had to empty my pockets.Originally posted by deejay1 View PostWe didn't take any sun cream/spray with us to either Wet or EBC, because we're stupid Brits who think we won't burn.
You can buy a few different types of sun cream in each though, so we just ended up doing that. You pay a bit more than you usually would but it's not too bad.
We didn't even try to sneak anything in so it didn't matter, but after reading horror stories on here I was amazed at how lax security was everywhere.Wedding @ Riviera '06 • March Madness @ Mandalay Bay May 2010 • Bachelor Party @ Palms Jul 2013 • GF's Birthday @ Cosmopolitan Oct 2013

I don't remember where I'd seen it, but that's what I thought. If your experience puts you in the party wearing a jersey, then I defer to you.Originally posted by joem1211 View PostAthletic wear rejected??? I've wore NBA jerseys a few times. I will say that every trip I've been, I've seen at least a few people blocked at the door for basketball shorts.Vegas trips: 11/2004, 11/2008, MayOD 2011, 9/2012, July Invasion 2013, 2/2015, 7/2015

That has been my experience as well. However, the shorts are usually accompanied by flat brimmed ball caps and wife beaters so who is to say what part of it causes the rejectionOriginally posted by wat View PostI don't remember where I'd seen it, but that's what I thought. A-Ha Shorts, Yeah, I'm not looking for a pickup game lol. I mean to say Wore the jersey but wore bathing suit. If people roll in wearing gear like they just came from practice...I'd block them too.Originally posted by sadler View PostThat has been my experience as well. LOL @ joem1211!!! I may have overlooked this thread but TAO beach daybed use gives us towels to be used? So we won't need to bring in our own towels? Wonder if there is a box n lock or something to store my wallet and phones...Originally posted by joem1211 View PostA-Ha Shorts, Yeah, I'm not looking for a pickup game lol.
