  • Friday: TAO Beach vs WET, who has been recently?

Quick question, aimed at people who have attended either in the past few months - which is the better, more crowded, wilder party with louder music on a Friday, TAO Beach or Wet Republic? Will be contacting hosts soon, but having a hard time making a decision...

Wet Republic hands down if you're looking for a party..Tao Beach is fun and can get crazy too, but it's more of a lounge. I usually stay at the Venetian, and Tao Beach is always the choice if we want to kick back and chill as opposed to partying.

Also look into Marquee and EBC
      Next trip: ???

Thanks, doing Marquee on Saturday and EBC probably on Sunday. I'd imagine EBC isn't as crowded on Friday though? Or do you think it would be better than Wet?

to be honest, you can't really go wrong at any of those spots right now..it's summertime, and it'll be fun regardless. if you haven't been to any of those, then I'd pick Wet Republic and Marquee dayclub.

Friday is the Hot 100 at Wet, it's a decent size crowd with a larger pool but I think a bit more reserved. I'm also basing this off last summer. Tao Beach on Friday is usually packed, smaller pool and is just a giant party. I personally like Wet better on Saturday. Tao Beach also has more reasonable minimums compared to Wet. It's definitely the most bang for the buck, and Chris Traer is the way to go when booking Tao Beach.

TB is good on Friday's (for them) but it's a much smaller pool and I always think that Wet has more to choose from in terms of location, people, etc. Tao is fun but if you don't like the crowd around you, too bad cause like I said it's small. Last time we had a table pool side and a bunch of large ladies parked right in front of us and blocked our view for much of the day. It's def less expensive so it's a tough call there bro.

That was my thinking behind Tao - smaller and will take less people to fill up and give it an energetic atmosphere. But if its typically more laid back as opposed to people in the pool, dancing, etc then I'd have to go with WET

Would anyone recommend hitting up WET on a Sunday? I know MDC/EBC are the best sunday options, but would WET be a close second or does it really pale in comparison to MDC/EBC?? Or is there another close second besides WET?

The Best Option on Sunday is EBC, it usually has a packed hot crowd with a good DJ spinning for the day. But I never been to MDC on Sunday.
