  • Is the re-entry trend phasing out???

Was at EBC last Saturday and they had no re-entry policy. I was wondering if other dayclubs/nightclubs plan of changing their re-entry policies as well.

I would think its hard to control the capacity that way. they already are at capacity so if you leave, they dont know if you are coming back or not. They dont want a couple hundred people walking out and losing out on income from bar tabs. They would rather bring in a new customer for everyone that goes out.

So does that mean no more re-entry at tier 1 pool parties and nightclubs or is it just an EBC issue???

On a side note, although EBC might loose $20-$30 for every person that walks out (my respect to anyone with higher bar tab between the hours of 11am and 1pm on a Saturday after a hard Friday night), I don't think Mr Wynn looses because chances are that most of those that go back and forth at EBC take their time around the Wynncore casino, coffee shops and casual dining establishments.

I'm guessing no. I'm guessing it was an anomaly probably due to EDC.
Re-entry has always been based on capacity... staff probably assumed they'd be at capacity most of the day? Judging by pics... it sure was damn crowded.

Actually I am talking about the weekend prior to EDC (which was also crowded nonetheless).

They didn't give out any wristbands to the GA crowd and they had "no reentry" signs at the exit. Don't know if it helps, but I got in by 11am to avoid the lines and the place was empty by that time.

Who was DJing? If it was someone like Tiesto or SHM then I can see why. It can get crazy packed.

Don't remember off the top of my head but after a quick google search for that Saturday (June 2) I found that it was Sidney Samson.

Although he put together a great set I don't think he is of the same popularity as Tiesto (and I assume EBC believes the same since the male presale 2 days in advance was at $30).

Standard entry for EBC is about that much. I've seen Presale at EBC as high as $100. Sidney Sampson is a veteran DJ too. Not as popular mainstream as Tiesto but for EDM/house fans, they know whats up. If Tiesto was there, it wouldnt be only $30. It would be double or more than that.

I've been there on a regular Saturday and it was the same way. Think it's just a EBC Saturday thing.
