Hard Rock (Particularly Rehab on Sunday) would probably be your best bet (EBC & Marquee are big on EDM).

Are there any others? I wish there was a list that mentioned the type of music played at each dayclub!

rule of thumb...ebc and mdc are all EDM. tao beach is a mix of top 40/remixes/edm/hip hop, except on sundays when it's all edm. same goes for wet, but with more of an edm/remix base. ditch on fridays and rehab on sundays are pretty much top 40/mix/hip hop. as for bare and liquid, i've never been to either personally, but i think they're both a mix of all of the above.

i think that covers the main pool parties...

You guys will be disappointed if you choose your day pool event based on type of music...Vegas is all EDM, EDM brings people, ain't nobody playing exclusive hiphop with a Big name DJ while boasting thousands of people...ain't gonna happen.

You should plan your Day pool based on location, event, and how much fun you wanna have...If you don't do this now, you'll do it eventually and learn it the hard way as I did.

It was funny, I noticed that they played this annoying EDM everywhere in Vegas and a few months later its everywhere back home...so I'm guessing Vegas is ahead of the curve...

You are making me seriously question my tentative schedule lmao. I don't mind EDM, but not all day. I prefer a mix if possible. I liked Liquid during my last trip, but I'd like to check out somewhere new on my upcoming trip. Decisions, decision...

missitigirl - you should be fine...if your first trip was in March of this year, then you will, I was in Vegas same time and it was cold....like 46 degrees, Pool season hadn't started and believe me August will be quite different.

Kman is right. I am a hip hop head. As much as it gets. But after a few drinks, I dont mind the EDM. Dont get me wrong, it would be nice to have the same crowd at places that have a top 40 / hip hop mix, but its just not the case.

So I save the hip hop spots for when I go to Cali, Miami, AZ & NY-NJ. When in Vegas, i just go where the crowd is that I enjoy and that my wallet will allow.

I have stayed at: Mandalay Bay, Aria, Flamingo, Excalibur, Hooters, PH Towers / Elara, Monte Carlo, Venetian, Luxor, LV Hilton, Rio, Mirage, MGM, Hard Rock Hotel, Planet Hollywood, Stratosphere, Tuscany, Tropicana, and rented a 6BR house. I think thats all.

LIQUID plays open format - true we have primarily electronic guest DJS, but for the most part our residents play a little bit of everything. You're going to find most all pool parties lean a little more electronic when it comes down to it, but we try to keep things fairly mainstream.

Our Thursdays and Sundays (barring special events, holidays, random guest DJs/performers) are typically more "all over the place", but in a good way. I manage Light Group's DJs as well, and we've got some extremely talented open format DJs on our roster that constantly play at/rotate through the pools (meaning Bare too).

Bare will be more laid back while LIQUID will be more of a party situation, so it is really up to what you are looking for.
