Not speaking for the rest of the posting public here, but I don't think anyony is going to recommend either of those pool for a party or action vibe. Maybe I'm off base though. A few questions so I and everyone else can give you some more concrete answers though. What hotel property are you staying at? If your on the strip GVR is approximately a 20 minute drive off strip. So you're looking at a decent cab fare. Secondly, what is your budget like for the trip per day exlcuding night time activities, and how many days will you be there? There are a lot of hosts here who will be willing to work with your budgets, and there is also ways to get around using hosts and going the presale route while still being able to hit up some of the biggger pool parties.

Just stay at the TI pool. I would think that a hotel pool on the Strip will be more fun than a "pool party" in Henderson.
$500 per day between the 6 of you? (That's $85 each) Or $500 per day each?

Here is what I would do, if you were dying to hit a pool party-
Friday- Hit the TI pool. Go super, super cheap. Like, make drinks in your room. Sneak vodka down in water bottles. Fill a camelback full of Captain Morgans. Eat something really inexpensive. Use the money you saved from Friday to double up on a Saturday pool party.
Now you have $160 each to spend at a pool party. $50 to get in and $110 to drink with.

$500 is definitely an extremely tight budget. If you're willing to to stretch your budget, Wet Republic has daybeds for $500 on Friday, Tao Beach had daybeds or couches on Friday and Sunday for $400-500. You need to realize though that those are just a minimum spend amounts. You'd also need to tip your host that you go through, waitress gets 20%, and then security and runners if you choose. You could try contacting Chris Traer for Tao and Thomas Gorman for Wet and tell them your situation. If you go general admission route I think admission for Ditch on Friday is $25. You could do that and buy a bucket of beers. Admission to WetRepublic is $50 on Saturdays if you buy general admission tickets. Tickets to Marquee Day Club through their site are $30. You could also do which I think is probably the best option and buy the marathon wristband to Marquee for $150. It gets you into every single every pool party and nightclub event there for the weekend. Or you could do the Tao wristband for $100. That one gets you into Tao, Lavo, and I think Tao Beach all weekend. They sell those at bestofvegas. I'd just double check with them about the Tao Beach part. The wristband for Marquee though seems like the best bet. It's what my friends and I would do if we were all in college again and on really tight budgets. That way you get to enjoy one of the top pool parties and clubs. Just make sure you do a few shots before you get there. Beers run about $7-8 each, drinks are probably about $12-15.

Neither. If the big 4 (EBC, MDC, Wet, and Rehab) are eliminated because of budget then the next best Sunday pool would be Tao Beach. That should be in your budget as long as you guys can throw in a few extra bucks. Liquid is good on Thursday, Bare on Monday. Sunday do Tao Beach.

Why don't you try and go with one of the independent club crawl companies? They do a few pool crawls as well and even though you don't get bottle service, it will be pretty cheap with assisted walk-in.
