  • EBC pricing June 8th weekend

I am planning a large group weekend in Vegas during EDC weekend and the prices I was quoted for EBC were extremely high. I've listed the quotes I received from EBC directly below.

    Cabana:
1st Floor: $7,000.00 Food and Beverage Minimum (up to 12 people)
2nd Floor: $4,000.00 Food and beverage Minimum (up to 10 people)

    Day Beds:
$2,000.00 Food and Beverage Minimum (up to 6 people)
$3,000.00 Food and Beverage Minimum (up to 8 people)

Lily pads weren't quoted for some reason even though we asked a couple times. Instead of quoting lily pad we were steered towards some large water couch in the middle of the pool for $3500 minimum. I've never seen picts of that and it didn't seem like a great idea to be stuck in the middle of the pool.

Does anyone in the community believe we can get better pricing at EBC if we wait until Friday, June 8th to book for the next day instead of locking into these high prices now? Also, we were told you can't order & eat food on the lily pads -- is that true?

The DJ that day is Steve Angello, I'm not sure if that is higher priced entertainment or not.

not sure about the pricing but I'm sure that weekend will be goign for a premium. Obviously because of EDC weekend and Steve Angello is one of the Swedish House Mafia DJs. One of the top well known DJ groups right now.

I still think these prices can't be real. Can DJ following club goers on EDC weekend really afford these prices? 12 people would need to pay almost $600 a piece before tax and tip to get a cabana. Or over $330 a person just for a daybed.

Dayclub prices are up there man. Especially on a big weekend like this and with a big named DJ. I wouldnt doubt the pricing. Its possible it could be a little better deal but its not out of the ordinary.

EDC and all these type of things arent like they used to be. Especially when in Vegas and over 21 crowd, its brought in a different group. I know of some people dropping about $50-75K for VIP tables at EDC that weekend.

i would try and contact some of the hosts that are recommended through this site directly, rather than ebc generally. they may be able to give you a bit better deal, but probably not much. the better relationship you have with a host, the better deal you [I]may[I] be able to get. that is an immensely popular weekend, however, and steve angello, whether you like it or not, is currently a premium dj, who will increase prices wherever he goes.

to put it in perspective, a few weeks ago, when a former host here was working ebc, i was quoted $1000 for sebastian ingrosso for 6 people for a bed. sebastian ingrosso is another swedish house mafia dj, who commands the same increases and premiums as steve angello. that was a discounted quote though, because i had a long-standing relationship with the host and it wasnt the weekend of edc.

as much as it sounds ridiculous, these are the prices that vegas commands for this type of talent. and to answer your question about the lily pad, as far as i know, you are correct in that you cannot order food to the lily pad. sorry to be the bearer of bad news! hopefully a direct host can work out a bit better deal for you guys. good luck!

dont forget the +100 surcharge on starting bottle prices

You can thank the EDM craze for those prices.

fucking hell. maybe try an indy host who is already likely to have long standing relationships and he might be able to sort a better deal? i've heard jeff ginsbergs name on these forums as someone with good connects at wynncore clubs.

Pretty sure they're gonna sell out seeing as EDC is during the night so everyone will be heading to the dayclubs/pool parties to kill time during the day. I would book as soon as possible to get best pricing. But like everyone said, contact a direct host of EBC to get a bit better pricing if not, a better location at least.

If budget is the main concern, inquire about the table area on the right just past the restrooms on the way in from the entrance, opposite side of the pool from the casino area and somewhat near the DJ booth (if memory serves correct). It's covered, and just simple couches/tables, but it's the cheapest option. If you are just looking for a place to put your things and have easy access to drinks from a waitress, it's just fine. We got a table there last summer and spent most of the time in/around the pool, but still had an area to get out of the sun and eat lunch, etc. FYI - the foot traffic there is VERY low.....
