  • Cabanas at non-dayclub pools

Has anyone done cabanas at any of the nicer non-dayclub pools? I'm particularly interested in the GO pool at the Flamingo and the pool at the Tropicana since both were recently redone.

We are looking for a place that will still be fun but also has a cabana for under $750.

    Thanks! - JB

I've only done a cabana at the MGM Grand Pool which was awesome, however, the rental fee ($350) only included the rental, plus soft drinks, juice, water and some fruit. They don't have a F&B minimum, but whatever you ordered was just added to the rental fee. I did checkout the GO pool as well, theirs included a bottle of liquor w/ mixers, some fruit and water and it was a little cheaper than MGM and definitely under $750. I've never actually been to the GO Pool though, just called when making plans so I can't actually comment on their pool experience. Best thing is to call them and ask what's included in the cabana rental. For what it's worth, the cabana by the lazy river at MGM Grand was an awesome time!

Mirage quoted me $400 for their cabanas, you get basics, like water, pop and some cheese and fruit. You then have to pay for your food and alcohol. M-Thursday you can reserve, but Fri-Sun you are put on a waiting list and not told you have it till that morning.

I've gotten cabanas at Mandalay Bay's pool before. Lots of options under $750.

Another, related question. If we set up a cabana at, say, the Flamingo...and then it's a crappy day out and we don't want it, is there going to be a cancellation fee? Similar question for a day bed at a place like Bare...are they going to require 24 hour cancellation notice?

Bare will not require 24 hr notice.

Not sure about the regular cabanas. I've heard stories of people being asked for a credit card up front to reserve them.

For the cabanas I've reserved they had the same 24 hour cancellation policy.

Myself and a friend did a cabana at the Hideaway Pool at the Golden Nugget one Monday. It was actually pretty damn awesome. A very chill time...not very many folks around.

Bottle prices were inexpensive, waitress was fast and attentive. It was a good time.
