Iheartradio weekend

We will be in Vegas the same weekend as the I heart radio festival. My friends want to do a pool party, preferably with a celebrity host. I can't find anything about parties from last year - does anyone know if this will be becomes premium weekend.

Group of five (2m/3f) looking to spend about a grand on a Sunday pool party...anyone with experience from last year's festival? All input appreciated, thanks!

I was out there last year during it. I did not notice any difference in pricing for clubs. Also, there were some celebs in clubs but no more than usual.

Sorry just realize you were only thinking pool party. Is it same time as last year? Because if it is there could be some great end of the year bashes at the pools

I would check the pool dates open/close thread. If you see some are closing up after that weekend it could be really good for you. Know where you're staying yet?

Haven't booked hotel yet, but my best offers are always from TI. That had me looking at Tao beach, since the Venetian is across the street, but I think wet republic might have a big event since MGM hosts the concert.

That is what I was thinking also. Guessing you won't go wrong with Tao Beach either.

i've been quoted a grand++ for ebc with sebastian ingrosso and mdc with kaskade, for the same # and ratio of people, so i'm sure you can get by with that spend limit at various places.

it wont be a big weekend but it will be busier than normal. on the good side is that all the parties will be good and you might be able to spot a celebrity or 2 at every place. here is some contact info that may come in handy:

I was in town last year during the 1heartradio concert. I didnt see anything that was more than unusual for that weekend. I mean its Sept, so if it was busy, it would be equivalent to a summer weekend. Nothing way extra ordinary that happens in the months of June and August.

Just a whole lot of Cali people in town. Other then that yeah it's no different then a big convention being there.

The announced bands don't spark our interst. By that, I mean the girls are not excited about the lack of Maroon 5. Shifting gears from spending big on pool parties to going more laid back and relaxation. Probably go to Bare instead.

I'm not even sure why hotels are so expensive that weekend. This year's lineup is terrible compared to last year's.
