  • Encore Pool (not EBC)

Staying at Encore in 2 weeks with my wife and 2 other couples.
Looking for a mellow-ish time at the pool on Friday and Saturday. Drinking, relaxing, drinking, eating, drinking, etc.
How is "standard" pool at Encore? Should we reserve a cabana or daybeds?

When I go with my girl, we enjoy Encore-European Pool. No kids, topless optional, gaming, and a center bar. No need to reserve a cabana or daybed, plenty of chairs. Waitresses are hot and attentive, drinks and food are fabulous. You'll have a good time.

Thanks. Any idea what the blackjack minimums are during the day at the pool?

Went this past weekend and it was a great time, def agree that the euro pool is a lot more fun and the drinks were great.

Enough said...My lady and I did the exact same. I will say one thing, I did like the idea of the daybeds that surround the edge of the pool that basically sit in the water. I realize that they tend to be another Vegas money trap but I would strongly consider spending the extra coin if it's me and her down there again.

One of the couples that we are going with just inquired about getting a Cabana / Daybed / Lily Pad. I guess last time they were there, they didn't have trouble getting a chair, but whenever they got up to play black jack/go in the pool/ go to the bathroom one of the pool workers removed their stuff and gave away their chairs. If they were gone for more than 15 minutes, they came back and their stuff was gone.
WTF? His wife said that they actually misplaced her things and couldn't find them.
He was quoted the following (prices are for rental only and don't include booze or food:
                Upstairs Cabana: Friday = $400. Saturday = $500
                Downstairs Cabana: Friday = $500. Saturday = $600
                Lily Pad: Friday= $400. Saturday = $500.
                Day Bed: Friday = $300. Saturday = $400.

Seems like a waste to me. I could think of a lot better ways to blow $500 in Vegas.
