Hey guys, just wanted to get some people's opinions on this, Avicii is playing Marquee Dayclub on May 12th, my group wanted to get a daybed but the quote we got from the host was really high ($3000), so we think we are going to just try general admission. We are staying at the Cosmo so I am not sure if that helps us getting in at all, but the main question I had was what is Marquee Dayclub like if you don't have a daybed/cabana? I know its quite a bit smaller than Wet/Rehab, so I was wondering if we are just gonna end up squeezed in with all the other general admission people or if there was still room to move around and have a good time like at Wet?

I don't know why peeps think that Cabanas, daybeds, bottle svc is a way of life for daypools or night clubs for that matter....the majority of folks have a great time w/o spending enuff for a used hyundai at a pool party...I had a stupid time at Wet, and even more fun at EBC...no daybed, no cabana, etc...for a woman I'm sure it gives you a landing spot and a place to keep your stuff...but don't think for a second that you can't have fun w/o the trappings...
you'll end up in the water, socializing around being fun.

While I agree a daybed/cabana is definitely not required to have fun at MDC or any dayclub for that matter, you definitely would want to get pre-sale tickets. Avicii seems to be super hot right now and I wouldn't be suprised if the regular admission lines that day would be extra long to the point they might stop entry in general.

On behalf of the fiance and her friends: 3 girls staying at Cosmo May 11-14, looking to hit Marquee Dayclub AND Nightclub May 12 for Avicii. They got quoted $1500 min for a daybed, which seems like a lot, but Avicii is bringing the crowds (aka $$$$). They are wondering if they should just get the wristbands and how that works - are they able to jump in a faster line? Is that their best bet for the weekend?
Thanks for any info I can relay to them!Urban Bud - Tacoma, WA - recreational marijuana

Talking to different staff at various pools, they all told me they never go into the party pool water unless they need to. After going in Moorea Beach and Rxhab (yeah, definitely not a good idea), I second that.Originally posted by kman90 View Postyou'll end up in the water, socializing around being fun.FO SHO.Originally posted by redbullvodkayou're not ditching them, they're ditching you by not going.Originally posted by kimballYou want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

LOL, depends on the pool.... EBC seemed fairly clean. Actually, my one buddy spent 80% of the day in the water!Originally posted by ashroid View PostTalking to different staff at various pools, they all told me they never go into the party pool water unless they need to. Avicii makes people crazy. So yes it will sale out. While tables are a great entry point and resting place during the party, presale tickets get you in as well.
As far as staying at the Cosmo, we do cater very generously to guests within the hotel. However, for special events and Saturdays, you would usually need a separate form of entry (Table, Presale, Guestlist).
Once again, Avicii makes people crazy!
