  • Best European Pool for late thirties

My wife and I are headed out in May. In the past we have been to Bare. The place was a bit of a turn off as it was small and expensive. You have to pay to use a chair. Since then we have been to Club 25 which is now closed. We enjoyed Club 25 in that we felt drink prices were more fair, the music wasn't crazy, and you could get a lounger with out paying just to sit.

    Any advice is appreciated.

I was about to say Bare, lol.

I will note that Marquee Dayclub is topless Monday through Thursday after the Grand Opening throughout summer as of now.

I loved bare due to its size...you were forced to mingle and socialize with people, topless people...I'm a guy and I was definitely topless

But I don't think you're gonna find any place in Vegas on the strip that isn't a money vacuum...that's how they measure success, how many daybeds, cabanas and over-priced watered-down drinks they sell. Its to be expected.

I think Venus might be up your alley. I have never been though.

thanks for the info. We were thinking about Venus as well. I like the term money vacuum. That pretty much sums up my opinion. I don't mind spending the money, but I am past the need to blow cash to feel important.

I was reading another post about bare that made it sound good. The only issue I had there was we felt out of place. It wasn't clear how to use the chairs. Or how much they were. Or even where to put your personal items.

We just enjoyed Club 25 while it lasted. plenty of space no hidden fees just to use a lounger. Even had pool volleyball.

Does anyone know any info about getting a lounger at the Venus pool?

The Euro pool @ Encore was great when we went. Slightly slightly older crowd...My Girl and I are both 24 and we both agreed we were the youngest.

just stay @ Encore and go to the Euro pool there. One of the best kept secrets in Vegas. There's no charge for a chair.

Do you have to be a guest at the Encore to use the European pool?

I hate to ask a stupid question, but can Wynn guests use the Encore Euro pool?

Well we went to the Venus pool and were told they wanted $100 each to use a lounger. So we left. Like I said I am not into wasting money to feel important. We then went to Bare and after standing watching 4 employees talk with each other instead of checking us in we walked out of there as well.

oh well going to mexico in october.

Wanted $100 for the lounger, or was it a $100 minimum spend to use it (and would that have made a difference to you)?

edit: Also if you were there on the day before you posted (Monday 5/21), there were quite a few of us at Bare as part of our Invasion.
