Rehab April 22

Hi everyone. I'm new here in need of some advice.
My wife and I are thinking on going to Rehab on 4/22 (Pitbull and Pauly D). I checked wantickets.com and it's $70/guys & $50/girls.
We've never done the whole pool party thing. And to be honest we are not planning on paying for a lounge chair or a day bed... We just want to go buy some drinks, enjoy the pool and music. overall just have a good time
I contacted a dude on CL (a promoter I guess) and he said that I would have to buy my ticket, but he would be able to walk my wife in for free.
Let's say this guy come thru... how much should I tip him?
And, if he doesnt, I guess Im gonna have to buy my girls ticket there, make a line to buy it and then another line to get in.. Is it going to be more at the door? but what if they r sold out?.. i'm screwed!
Any thoughts.. Whats the best way to go about this?

1 - $70 for guys is good.
2 - if you're getting an advance tix for $50, whats the point?

Rehab lines are legendary and when we say line down the street, that means outside the hotel, which means inside the hotel the line is damn long...I've seen that line, never had to wait, but damn.

You should contact a host for HRH/Rehab from this board, Craigslist uh I'm not so sure what you're getting there.

Why don't you just work a skip the line, escort deal with a HRH host which means you get in, skip the line, and your cost is the handshake to the host.

As for the mandatory cost for guys, thats just the way it is in Vegas for day pool functions if you're not doing BS.

By the way, last time I was at Rehab, it was 1 price for drinks, in the $20 range for the Rehab large cup etc...

Thanks for the advice kman90.. I didn't know lines were that long, like I said I've never gone to a pool party.
So, if I understand correctly. Dont buy tickets, just contact the host and set up the skip the line.
What's a good handshake/tip? I wouldn't want to offend the host.

hold on...I said that $70 is a good price for fellas...but if you contact a host, see what it'll cost for escorted entry for all of you, maybe you'll save some $$$ or maybe there ain't "escorted entry" for special events like Rehab.. Yeah during the summer, the line for Rehab is looooong, and that's before 11 am on a Sunday. You'll see what I mean....but isn't that a good thing...it tells you that you're in the right place.

Yeah, I contacted a host.. waiting for his reply.
After reading a couple of reviews of rehab.. i guess its not a good spot anymore, haha.. I'll wait for the host to get back to me, and go from there.

Yeah Rehab supposedly has fallen off .... I can't get a straight answer from anyone but so far I've been told that Rehab now attracts only the "jersey shore" crowd....whatever that means? I've done Encore Beach Club and loved it.

What you heard is correct. The last few years Rehab has been very spring break in a bad way. I'm pretty sure people get pregnant from getting in the water too...even boys. If you're going to put forth effort and cash for an easy entry I would recommend Encore Beach or Marquee day club. BUT I know there's a new team heading Rehab this year so maybe it's worth a look?

Does your wife really love to party that much? I have been to Rehab a handful of times, but not in the past few years. It is not a place that I would bring my wife. Nor would my wife enjoy it there.
A lot of the Vegas pools are fun without the "pool party" thing going on. I think it depends on you and your wife's idea of fun.
And my wife likes to party. Just not around a bunch of juice heads and chicks in thongs. I thnk other pool parties Wet, Encore Beach Club, etc might be just as fun, but not quite as skanky.
Years ago they used to have "Stripper Dodgeball". I think it may have gotten worse since then.

We like to party and have a good time... but we really dont want to be surrounded by a bunch of douchebags.

On a side note the rehab host reply back. He said that the only way to skip the line would be to reserve a daybed or cabana.
Man, I wouldve punch myself if I paid for a daybed just to hate the place.

General question on pool parties:
How many lines to go in.. I guess if you pay for lounge chair, day bed or cabana you wont make a line.

Is it one line for everyone that buys the same day and for people that pre-orders or buys online.. or 2 different lines?

..And the early you get there the better, right?
