  • Mid-week Dayclub options for young couple

Visiting in May for the RECON real estate convention. It will just be me (25) and the gf (23), and we're trying to figure out the best dayclub option. Don't want to spend $500+ for a midweek daybed or cabana for just the two of us, but we'd like to have an area to lounge...any ideas will help. Thanks!

    Staying at The Mirage btw

Are you going to have a car and/or are you interested in driving a few miles?

Haven't planned on getting a car, but we're considering different options so I'd be happy to get some ideas.

This may not be what you were looking for. It's not a "Dayclub" like Wet Republic. It's a Couples Spa.

And most posters are going to laugh at me for suggesting a place way out in the boonies like this.

My wife & I went to this place and we loved it. It was very relaxing. We did the "couples area use only" and we stayed until they kicked us out because they were closing.

Couples retreat at the South Point out in the Tules.

I appreciate the idea, but we're looking for more of a dayclub atmosphere. No offense, but a 25yr old guy and 23yr old female probably aren't the right demographic for a couples spa lol

You should be able to reserve a couple of lounge chairs for a reasonable food and beverage minimum. By May all of the pools will be up and running but there really aren't any great options on Tuesday or Wednesday. For Thursday I recommend Liquid at Aria.

Thanks for the tip. How far in advance is necessary to reserve lounge chairs/day beds since we'll be heading out there in late-ish may?

I have to second Liquid, especially if you're going for a lounge chair (I can't remember exactly but I think when we went last July Liquid was the only pool that actually HAD lounge chairs, everywhere else just had Daybeds with much bigger minimums).

We went on a Saturday and it was $100 min a chair. Can't remember his last name but Pearce from JC set it up for us.

You should be fine booking in early May.

Pearce Cleaveland is his name. He posts as "Sir Pearce" on here.

Definitely want to do Bare at least one of the days...what day would you recommend? And are the 2012 rates for daybeds/lounge chairs set? Thanks
