  • Lavo Daytime Brunch? Saturday Any good? thoughts?

So, Is this any good? I can't find any info on this.
Usually daytime brunch parties can get ridiculous (like in St. Bart's, etc.) but is it like that here--or not worth the effort?
    Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion--just checked out their website. Um.."Sammwiches" and Jwoww from Jersey Shore, beer pong and 40 ounces in paper bags. Not my scene! I think I'll just stick with retail therapy during the day!

lol...Lavo Brunch might be for you then. We havent had a lot of reviews on it, but from what Ive seen its a low key loungish brunch.

Lavo Brunch was one of the best times I've had in Vegas.

Folks chilling, eating brunch and of course bottle service!

Food awesome, great atmosphere...definitely do this.

Haven't done GBDC, so I can't give you a comparison to Lavo Brunch, but I did Lavo Brunch last month and loved it.

Yes, the tables have white linen and yes, it starts as a sit down lunch, but that doesn't last long. The music is loud (not as loud as a club, but louder than a pool/lounge/bar), everyone dancing on tables, confetti canon's etc.. etc.. check out the pics on spyonvegas if you want to get a feel for what's its like.

Won't be everyone's cup of tea, but if you've got a group and are looking for that kind of party, its a blast.

Course, when pool season gets into full swing, pool parties win hands down, but its a fun way to spend a Sat afternoon in the cooler months.

              LAVO Brunch? Yes.

I've been confused at why there aren't more people talking about LAVO Brunch on these boards. It is THE BEST party to go to right now outside of Marquee/XS Saturdays. The fact that it's during the day is just a bonus. I have gone 3-4 times so far and will lend my .02.

Table prices are really conservative, we have found it usually comes out to roughly $150 a head per guy. This means if your bros bring $200 each, your tax/grat are covered. We usually have a decent size table with about 10-12 people 5M/5-7F and get 2 bottles of vodka + some champagne if things get extra weird.

You start out and the curtains are open (natural light?!), tables are set, music is about the same volume it would be at during a dinner service there. You grab some flatbread pizza, pasta, handle your first round of bottles, and start having some cocktails.

              Exhibit A: http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...45877510_n.jpg

People are eating and checking in. Every 30 minutes the curtains slowly begin to close, the volume raises, and people start sending away the half eaten food to stand on tables. Eventually by about 3pm you suddenly forget it is the daytime and your brain is transplanted in the same space it goes at any club on a Saturday night.

              Exhibit B: http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...04395316_n.jpg

              Exhibit C: http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...19736905_n.jpg

              Exhibit D: http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...46537767_n.jpg

              Things to consider:
This event is built to have a group with you and have a table. This isn't exactly a "go pick up babes on the dance floor" with your bromance wingman type of environment. You should really plan on at least getting a home base here even if it's 1 bottle and some food. Be warned, we have abandoned many Saturday night plans by simply extending LAVO brunch drunk shenanigans to early evening blackout levels. (Similar dynamic as pool party season)

Does anyone have any idea about how much a bottle of goose is here? Looking into it for my upcoming trip. Cheers
