  • Pool Party for the Old Folks

My group ranges in age from 36-42. We've been to Wet Republic. We had a great time except that our targeted demographic (women in 30s) were not well represented. I assume that is typical for pool parties. Others have told me that assumption is correct but I trust only the posters on this board. Are there any pool parties, such as EBC, that have a more diverse age demographic? If not, no worries, our targeted demographic is well represented at the regular pools. But if we could combine the Wet Republic atmosphere/music with our targeted demographic, that would be ideal.

No but seriously, my wife and went there (33 and 35) and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Besides the cocktail servers I don't think there was anyone under 28. There were also alot of adult industry female workers there (no I don't mean hookers) legit ones like bartenders, servers , host's, strippers etc there just totally having chill girl time sunbathing with cocktails in hand. All the lounge chairs were outfitted with super comfy cushions and it didn't cost a dime to lay there. Really cool, chill and classy.

I prefer to think of 36-42 as established vs. old...trip around the world trumps once around the block.

People get really hung up on their age at pool parties in comparison to clubs.

It's really not a big deal. Older guys usually have the money for cabanas and such and the younger women usually enjoy free things that come along with that.

Don't sell yourself short. OMGZ you've seen the earth orbit the sun more than some other people.

If you're purposefully looking for older women though, BARE is probably your best answer like Dnix said. Who would seriously do that though?

Just avoid rehab and you guys will be fine. All the others have a good mix of age groups.

I'm 37 and love encore beach. If im feeling crazy I can rock out with the younger folk in front of the dj booth. If I'm on my grown man status i'll chill by the pool or in the shaded casino area and get my gamble on/watch the games

                              In the same boat

We have the same problem in the same age group 30-40. Have been to WR and Ditch, fun young crowd but we're definately the minority. Its hard to find something in between lame and spring break. Same goes for nightlife - either dull bar or off the hook 20-something clubs.

Been to Vegas more times than I can count, so I know it pretty well. Coming in June. I'll check out Bare and Mandalay. Im on the lookout for a pool on a Wed, and a Tue night bachelorette party dance spot. Lavo is a little small. Was thinking Marquee, but its closed on Tues. Maybe Pure? Any suggestions appreciated.
