Be there in March for March Madness first round

If the wet republic calendar is correct it opens Friday March 9th. It doesnt have an announcement for the date but it does have tickets for sale for that day and not the week before so i would assume it is correct. http://wetrepublic.com/events/2012/3

Yah Wet is slated to open. Depending upon weather most of the major pools open up. Hard Rock had the big Bud Light march madness party two years ago. Last year it was so cold in Vegas for the first weekend of march madness so hopefully it will be hot out.

March can be a tough time in figuring out if there will be good weather or not. When I was there last year for the tournament, it was so cold we didn't go. However, the week before (around March 9th), it was about 80 degrees or so.

LIQUID will be open as well... On the 15th... We will be running some March Madness specials as well as Spring Break specials.

The weather is obviously up in the air.

For people concerned about weather..I live up in Reno which is about 6 hours away from Vegas and we have been experiencing overly warm days this whole winter..60-65 degree days...Vegas typically has better weather than us up in the North. I'm not saying its gonna be warm enough to go to the pool but you should have some great weather come march madness.
