Yeah that's tough, you win on that front at least LGW - LAS is direct I just don't sleep the night before, or on the plane, then seem to just zombie about 9pm.

In 2013 we got in the day of the Marquez v Bradley fight thinking we would be fine - I actually fell asleep in the Thomas and Mack centre mid fight, with everyone going crazy around me

Having the same issue, can't sleep in cars/busses/boats/planes/airports either. First day is a killer before starting a party.

I'm flying from LHR to Chicago to Vegas, 4 hour stop off. I chose £200 over direct flights but I'll probably regret it. Hopefully I can sleep during LHR to Chicago then get some drinks in during the stop.
