Ive heard of mins as low as $500 below depending on the day/table location/party size. But you can still walk in and hang out in the lounge/bar area and party. I dont know if there is a cover or anything for that, but that are was flooded with women.

$500 doesn't sound bad at all. I'm planning for a trip on Columbus Day weekend; its probably gonna be just me, my friend and another friend of his. I think that weekend is gonna be crazy though, so i might just have to go with the lounge/bar area.

I was there last Columbus day weekend and the pool parties were still going on, and lavo brunch and gbdc have not started yet. I don't think they started till the end of October or something like that. So if you haven't booked your trip yet and wanted to do lavo brunch, I would book later in the month or early November.

hmmn...yeah Columbus day weekend might be the only time i have to go; i'm gonna be busy with other stuff after that. Ah i guess we'll just go to the pool parties instead .

Saturday night

SATURDAY NIGHT

So as we get back into the MGM still buzzing hard from LAVO Brunch, we realize how big of a deal UFC Fight Night is in Vegas. GSP vs. Hendricks and the MGM is popping, people decked out in tuxes, people in affliction, people in party clothes; the lobby is insanely packed. My plan was to hit the tables for a bit so I wouldn’t fall asleep before the club (if I fell asleep I’d be out for the night). Anyways the casino is even more packed, no BJ tables under $25/hand and most are $50+, can’t find a seat so I end up playing craps for a bit, lose some $$ and call it quits. Time to head back to the room hydrate a bit and get ready for the night; get back to the room and Y has finally arrived, so we have another person to show how Vegas is really done. As I’m sitting in the suite with the guys I move over to the other couch to take a phone call and my drunk ass somehow passes out, luckily I was woken up after 45 mins or so feeling totally recharged (that has to be my key now, short disco nap and force someone to wake me up).

The guys had got some room service so we slammed on some pizza, and the bachelor “L” comes up to me and tells me that we should try to upgrade our table from the pavilion table to something in the main room. I tell him ill see what I can do. A little bit of back story, I had reserved our table through Thomas Gorman, but he had texted me a week before saying he was going to be on vacation in the Maldives the weekend we were there, he said everything was taken care of, he gave me the # of another host; Brandon Ring; and that if I needed anything day of to contact him. I had checked in with Brandon the day before to see what time to get there so I knew we were good. I shoot a text to Brandon saying that I was looking to upgrade our table location if he could offer anything, but he replied that b/c of the UFC fight they were overbooked as it was and had nothing at the moment, but if anything opened up he would let me know. Well about 40 minutes later at about 9PM, Thomas emails me from his vacation to check if I’m still coming in, I let him know that we are and were actually looking for an upgrade and that unfortunately nothing was available. He said to give him an hour and he would see what he could do. At about 10PM he emails me back saying there were a couple last minute cancellations and he could do a tier 2 corner booth for $4.5K or a dance floor booth for $7k, but that he needed an answer quick before they got snapped up when doors opened. We pounced on the tier 2 booth (which he had originally quoted to me at $6k for this night). So I Really wanted to give a shout out to Thomas for not only hooking it up but working from his vacation across the world to take care of us big time!!

At about 11PM we head down from the suite to Hakkasan with a slight buzz on. You can tell some of the guys are really struggling here (PK and K especially). We get to the entrance of HK and it’s a friggin zoo, the line is LONG LONG LONG and the jumble of people in from of the table reservations line looks insane. Hopefully HK has figured out a way to streamline the process more, b/c I don’t know how people who don’t have a host there can really figure out what to do. Anyways I text Brandon and he come up to the rope and says what’s up, lets our group through the rope and gets us set up with ID checks and everything. He jokes a bit with me on how Thomas was still working on his vacation as he walks us in and brings us to the very corner table in tier 2. This spot is dope maybe 10 feet from the DJ booth actually and its super roomy, cell phone chargers under the seats and lil drawers for girls to put their purses and stuff in. The room is half empty at this point but it looks really sexy, the waitress comes by and Brandon passes us off not before he lets us know to text him whenever we want some girls at our table and he will make it happen, slip him the agreed upon $300 handshake and its on. Magnums of Goose and Moet come out and some of the guys are already in shock, due to little bottle presentation. At this point I make sure to introduce myself to the bouncer and the busser and slip them a lil tip, bouncer says just lets him know if we need anything (girls, kick people out, escorts to the bathroom, etc, etc.) By this time its about 11:30 and the place is packed already, the energy is high and the opening DJ is killin it. A bunch of the girls we invited to Hakkasan are on their way, including the one I hit it off with from Chico State, so I text Brandon to let him know and he says just have them ask for him and he will have them escorted to our table.

In the mean while the bouncer brings a group of girls to our table to hang out. We make sure to let the waitress know to pour super light on the drinks for the girls, this first group of girls are celebrating some girls 21st birthday from ASU, bunch of good looking chicks but obvious bottle rats. I’m sure they had heard the stories of girls in Vegas just being able to hang out with dudes and party for free if they were hot, but that doesn’t fly with me. I’m not saying the girls have to put out or anything, but please if your drinking my booze and hanging at my table, try and at least be fun, have a conversation, dance, be energetic, don’t just huddle with your girls and ignore the hospitality and be anti-social. So I got fed up and signaled our bouncer to kick em out, they all looked so sad, but who cares another group of girls was sliding up into our table right behind them, and a few of the girls from LAVO brunch were right outside. At this point Y is in complete shock he has never seen girls herded around like this shuffled in and out at a guy’s whims and fancy, he is in complete shock and yells over at me “They never even said BYE!!!” (This ended up becoming the most referenced quote from the night). At this point not even an hour in one of the bachelors “K” is done he can’t function so he bounces back to the suite to crash, man I feel bad for him, but some guys can’t hang ya know? All of a sudden our table is packed the bouncer had brought over a group of girls, and two groups of girls from LAVO brunch were here and club was on another level.

Anways I’m really vibing with the girl from Chico and things are going really well, we are dancing, drinking, have a great old time, I’m trying to get her to “come see the suite for a bit” before Tiesto comes on, she is ready to go but hold up, wait, what happened. Her other friend runs up to her and says that the same friend who got drunk and kicked out of LAVO brunch is drunk and puking in the bathroom and is being kicked out. So she says she will try to come back once they figure out what to do, but the good bye kiss I get tells me im never seeing her again. Here I am bummed out for a minute like damn what a waste, until I turn around look back at the table see my boys raging and all the beautiful women around the club and pshhhhhh who cares what just happened to that girl! Anyways Tiesto comes on we are going bananas to his insane set which just all kinds of awesome. I start dancing with this redhead from NY who is super cool (acutally we still keep in touch till today), and the club night just ends up being a blast. Me, R, and Rags are having the time of our lives just going HAM to the party

P, L, Y all come up to me at different parts of the night and thank me for setting all this up, and how amazing it is, and I have to come with them every time they come to Vegas. Man I ate that shit up, I love planning stuff out and having everybody just enjoy the hell out of it. So we end up shutting down HK and walking out at like 4 AM. Most of the guys go to crash; me and L hang out with the girls from NY for a while. Get back to the room at 7 AM, crawl into the bed to crash and all I can think is: MAN I LOVE THIS FUCKING CITY!!

SUNDAY

Not much happens today, we wake up head to a bar in the MGM to watch the 49ers vs Saints game (still not over the fact that we lost this game to the most horrible roughing the passer call known to man). But honestly all of us are riding the struggle bus from the lack of sleep and too much booze combination. We hang out at the MGM all day, everyone’s flights to the Bay Area get delayed b/c of fog so we have plenty of time to kill. Nothing else eventful happens, so we all say our good byes I feel like ive turned the Vegas Virgins into Vegas addicts; get on our plane and back to real life.


Man writing this TR has me so amped or this weekend in Vegas, its going to be the longest week ever…..
