Also, can you let me know where you picked up your golden coupon book from? We have plenty of time to plan ahead but it seems like i cant afford to NOT own that book.

Okay, so think of Video Poker as slots for someone with a brain. If you play a 9/6 Payout Jacks or Better correctly, it will return 99.54% of your money back to you. That means in the long run, for every $100 you put into the machine, you'll get back $99.54.

Of course it's gambling, so the house always wins (Though, there ARE machines in Vegas where you literally can beat the house. IF you play them perfectly, for every $100 you put in, you'll get like $100.58 dollars back. They're fucking hard to play perfectly though, especially if you like to drink. I like to drink.) We stuck to full pay Jacks or Better, because it's relatively easy to learn how to play. And hey, in the short run you could hit a Royal Flush like girlfriend did, or mostly just scam on free fucking drinks like I did, while losing your money like two hundred times slower than if you were playing slots.

We used vpFREE2 to find the best Video Poker in town. Hint, it's not on the strip. Second hint, most of the gambling odds are way better off the strip, though your money will last longer in a shitty Video Poker machine than in most slots.

Table poker is a whole different beast, and it's something I suck at, so don't take advice from me. I'll tell you to push all your chips in because that guy is totally bluffing, and then he'll be holding pocket aces.

Craps is also a different thing. Video Poker is for when I'm feeling cheap, craps for when I'm feeling expensive. Buying into even a $5 minimum craps table for under $100 really limits the time you can spend hanging out. If you buy in for $40, place a pass line bet, back it up with odds, then crap out, you can be knocked out of the game immediately.

Here's the 2014 version of the American Casino Guide, the coupon book I sat in the hotel room clipping from. It also has like game training basics and shit you might find useful.
