Apologies to the forum members I agreed to meet up with and failed to. I tried to call a few but apparently American Cell phones don’t like international numbers. Nevertheless, I’ll be back next year, hopefully with a bigger crew!!

I'm pleased it wasn't just me with this issue, now I know I wasn't getting blown off! My number one tip for other international visitors would be to just bite the bullet and get a cheap American phone or sim card (especially if you plan to return/spend a bit of time in the US)
Met some dudes in Vegas that said they'd take me out drinking in Chicago, but fuck international sims!
