Have you tried using the family and friends link to possible lower pricing? You can book up to 4 rooms under this plan. I used 3 rooms with 2 people in each for your dates.

Book 3 rooms at PH and it's $1152 for 2 queens. For Ballys 3 rooms with 2 queens in each in the north tower is $822 total before taxes, resort fees. They honor the 10% guarantee rate on this link also:

    May be another option.

Interesting. I didn't have that link, but the booking.com base rate (prior to taxes and resort fees) is $798.93, which would still be cheaper and give me 10% off that rate which should put it at $719.04 fir the 3 rooms prior to taxes/resort fees. The claim form says they will respond within 72 hours, so I'm waiting that out for now. I don't see why It wouldn't be approved though.

Would you rather Bally's or Harrah's? My preference is Bally's (maybe because I've had 2 good experiences though).
If you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can't afford it! That being said, it's Vegas and doesn't hurt to try!

I'm for the cheap rooms to maximize the party budget!

also Tryst is a nice place but don't expect a big name dj- more then likely will be a vegas based dj
If Hakkasan has a bigger name DJ a lot of the more ga crowd (female) will likely be there esp bc free entry.

Here's an update on the Caesar's Entertainment Best Rate Guarantee:

Well if was very tumultuous. So, I saw booking.com with a better rate than any bally's promo that I could find. I went ahead and booked ballys with the intent of using the best rate claim to match + 10%. I had my total rewards number so it discounted 1 of the 3 rooms I was booking. I then filled out the form and took 3 screen shots and sent it in. They came back and denied it due to insufficient info. So I emailed back saying I had 3 screen shots and didn't understand how that was insufficient. Well, they cam back and said it was denied because my total rewards room was discounted (I have zero points and never used this before). At this point I'm agitated because the terms even suggest looking on their sites deals for their best rates - just dont book with those rates or else you don't qualify for the BRG.

I'm pretty detail oriented, so I always check fine print before submitting things like this so I was a little frustrated when I was denied twice and tried to call to get transfered 10x. Finally today found teh right department had had to talk to 3 people and they still wouldn't give me the BRG. However, they did match it after a ton of complaining (I was going to cancel if it wasn't matched out of principal).

I got 3 new email confirmations with wierd pricing that come out to almost 100 less than my matched rate, so I'm really confused. One of the rooms is $54.40 for each night, then the other two are $44.40, $95.40, & $118.80 for Thurs/Fri/Sat and in the room selection doesnt have the room I chose it's just blank with a 2 queen request. hmmm.

If it's cheaper run with it and don't ask any questions. You have the emails.

I've only stayed in Bally's once and that was for a surgical conference a few years back. I have stayed at Harrahs the last 2 times.

Funny about your TR scenario. On our trip this past July the wife got our room for free 5 of the 7 nights there ($55/nt Fri and Sat no resort fees) and she got her card on our trip the previous Oct. and doesn't gamble.

It makes no sense but if they're willing, I'm able.

Yeah, so I am sitting on $943 for 3 nights and 3 rooms with resort fees. I'm gonna try a solid handshake to get them to make 1 room a suite or remove the resort fees to save $161 more which would be great.

I've stayed at Bally's twice a couple years ago. Once with a buddy and once with my girl and sister/bro in law. Both were fine. The first one was a free upgrade from a 2 queen room to a king suite with a nice bar area and 3 couches. Room was decorated like 1980s, but the fridge and extra space was great. The second time I didn't book or handle the front desk so no upgrades, but wasn't bad. It's not a hip hotel, but it's nice being right in the middle of the strip for those on a budget.

I kind of dealt with the same situation this last weekend.

Had Myself and 3 good high school buddies showing up in vegas for 1st-4th and then my brother and 4 of his buddies showing up 2nd to 4th.

They booked a king suite for 4 of them at MGM for $300 for the 3 days.
I booked a queen room for 3 days for $250 and the tower premier suite at luxor for 4th for $170 total. (GREAT suite btw)

My high school buddies, brother and I were down to throw money for bottle service at XS but my brothers friends thought they could get 9 guys a table for $900 on Saturday for Wolfgang.

I ended up at the last minute able to convince them to give me $.

We pre-partied in the suite from 9-10:30 or so with a few bottles. Got on the party bus with our bottles from room and tripped it around for an hour from Luxor to Wynn for $150 total.

Arrived at XS with 9 guys and 3 girls (Girls brought friends to room/bus but neglected to tell us they were under 21 till they arrived)

Paid $1308 for 2 bottles, $250 to my buddy/host and $200 in gratuity for a booth right next to a stripper pole/nice ledge and close to bar/dance floor entrance. We had a good location, no hassle from anyone and left with an amazing experience. 6 of the 9 guys have never been in a club before and their minds were blown. The party bus was a great vibe and opening and we left at 4:00 am.

In total i gathered $2.1k from my buddies, paid for the bus/club/booze and had some left over for my efforts. We didn have to have 2 guys walked in because our minimum was a bit lower and our pull wasn't as great but all in all, terrific.

                TLR

Party bus for 1-2 hours ($125 an hour + tip included in the $225 below)
$225 a guy for a good seat and 2 bottles
$25 a day for the rooms (4 to a room)

It is a ROYAL bitch getting money from friends or friends of friends but once they were able to see the kind of fun we could have if they listened to me they knew it was well worth it. Next time will hopefully be much easier now.

Yeah I know what you mean. Nearly all of my group of 9-12 have been salivating over going to Vegas in March pretty much since I got engaged November 2012, as soon as we hit this December and ready to actually book rooms etc, excuses are already coming out. People...lol Hell if im out there solo, so be it - this train isn't stopping for anybody!

Who did you set up the party bus with?

As far as bottle service I'm hoping Tryst still has the good Thursday bottle deals for my trip so I can lure the skeptics in with the lower prices so we can continue B.S. the rest of the weekend. Did you have 12 people? Were there enough seats? 2 guys got walked in separate and paid cover? Did you guys buy drinks after those 2 bottles were dusted? Seems like you got a pretty good deal if the location was good.
If you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can't afford it! That being said, it's Vegas and doesn't hurt to try!

I went through 24/7 Limousine. Got Josh as a driver and he showed up right on time. Let us cram anywhere between 24 (he said only 24 at beginning) and 40 people. Cost $125 for an hour plus tip (I gave $160). He was cool and let us bring our own bottles on. Hit Albertsons the day before and stocked up on $20-30 handles of everything.

1/2 my group had known me a long time and believed in my idea of a good time. The other half had only known me for little over a year and only through my brother, although we had hung out a lot. Trying to convince the second half to drop money was difficult. I found out from my host that I could do the entire night for $1700 in XS. That is 2 bottles with tax/grat, tips and a decent booth for 8 guys. He said all girls were free.

I ended up collecting $225 from 3 of my close friends and my brother and I each put in $500. We paid for an additional person and still had a slot for 1 at the table.

After the weak half of the group heard i had the suite, party bus and club lined up they said they were all in. I collected $120, $140 and $100 from 3 more guys. A friend showed up late and I got $100 from him. That was plenty to cover 9 and any extraneous costs for the night.

When I got to XS we walked right in at 12:00 AM. 9 guys, 3 girls. 7 guys and 3 girls walked in without a hassle, 2 guys had to pay cover. I threw them each $30 from my pot and they were in a few minutes later.

We had a BIG booth halfway between the bar and dance floor. Close to a lot of action, right next to a table filled with women, near a stripper pole and we had an awesome ledge bordering ours that we could dance on. Very comfy, easy to find and a short walk to the dance floor.

8/9 guys had not been to a club before
8/9 guys had never sat at a table/booth
8/9 guys were on their knees at 5 in the morning begging to come back

It felt great putting it all together and I was able to give my buds the taste they needed and build my rep with them.

We are heading back in March to do it big again. I was planning on hitting Tryst and then either Light/XS and running the same kind of setup, just a little bit bigger and more organized. I work in IT and planning/organizing information is a specialty.

Get the money as up front as you can. Have them paypal you it, wire transfer, write a check, cash, human heads, whatever it takes. My friends lose money like no other and are most times impossible to get to commit.

                      Good info.

Yeah as far as collecting money I'm hitting em up for a "room" deposit now of $150/each so I can have the rooms covered and a little wiggle room. Then Ill hit em up in early march for a big chunk for "group" activities for hopefully another $300-$500 more hopefully before we go so I can put it in my accounts and not have all of it in cash.

My group is mostly in their very late 20's to early 30's, with the exception of my brother who turns 21 next month. I have another guy who doesn't really drink and I don't know if he's ever been to vegas and another couple guys who've done vegas only once, maybe twice, but not to clubs or bottle service. I'm a little worried about my newly 21 brother hitting Vegas for the first time with my group of mainly degenerates, but it'll be a good time.

Haha yea getting money early is a great method. I had to get it all in cash up front and my wallet was almost too big to sit on holding all that money in it.

My brother is three years younger and definitely a loose cannon. Horribly at planning/organizing and just overall level headed thinking. At our table we had two bottles to start and it was 3:15 AM when I saw him trying to pull out a few hundreds for another $800 bottle at XS. Had to slap his hand haha and make him give me all his money so I can look after it.

I had a few guys that have never drank/partied or clubbed really and they absolutely loved it. Close friends + nice clothes + pay a lot to play place = a good time for everyone.
