It's the same thing as I said in the last thread. Whether it be security or maintenance they have to have an override code or key because guests leave the safes locked after they checked out. So the only way they can get the next guest to use it is if somebody was able to open it afterwards. I would never leave anything in the safes but most hotels offer safe deposit boxes that require both keys to open, one which is given to the guest and the other kept by the hotel. If I ever need to leave valuable goods that's what I would use.
      Venetian/Palazzo/IP/Cosmo/Mirage

      My hotels of choice.

Oh don't worry I'll drink it. But you better know that when I do, we about to get buck!

thats sounds about right. but you should easily be able to see whos coming and going and at what time? cameras are everywhere. i think it would be easy to charge these ppl.

Best bet is to put a nanny cam or similar in the room and see who's truly robbing these things. Drop a small amount in the safe record yourself putting it in there, then call it in as broken and leave the room to see what happens later. Only as a means to prove the incident is happening. Not as a baiting method lol. (posted the last part for legal reasons)

I think hiding the cash in the room is the easy part. however, like what chuck said, if one has valuable jewelry, it might worth looking into other options. But at the same time, do i really want to check in my watch everytime i go to the pool?

Most casinos do have private vaults and safety deposit rooms for exactly that.
